live from the cbs bay area studios, this is kpix 5 news. breaking news, two arrests in the deadly ghost ship warehouse fire. i'm michelle griego. >> and i'm kenny choi. >> reporter: the man who once ran the warehouse is now in jail. the fbi helped arrest him.

he-- the district attorney has not said what charges will be. but up to 32 count of involuntary manslaughter are possible. 36 people were killed. they were attending a dance party in a converted warehouse. people who lived there described it as a death trap with shoddy wiring. when the fire broke out. dozens were trapped on a makeshift second floor with no escape. this is home video of the warehouse's master tenant shot long before the fire. in the days after, he gave an emotional interview to the today show. >> i leave my three children down there every night. >> we understand that. >> this is not profit.

this is loss. >> i'm only here to say one thing that i am incredibly sorry. >> reporter: he said he'd rather be trampled by the parents of the victims. the war lord of the ghost ship helped set up the party that was underway and spoke about who should take responsibility. >> ultimately, it should fall on the property holder, and they're the ones that gave us a space with messed up electricity, with no sprinkler system. with, you know, no means of really addressing any of these grievances, and a way that would solve anything. >> we are going to hear a lot more about the cases against these two men today at 1 p.m. at a news conference by nancy o'malley. new information in the

deadly london bridge attack. police have named two of the suspects. londoners are getting back to work. meg oliver has the latest. >> reporter: police detained more suspects as they investigate the terror attack. three men used a van to mow down pedestrians on london bridge before getting out and stabbing people in the market popular with tourists. christine archibald was with her fianci on a business trip. >> he saw the mayhem going on. and ran up and tried cpr on her and she passed in his arms. >> police shot and killed the

three attackers. in the east london neighborhood, residents express shock. one said he saw the van friday. >> everyone is trying to tell him to move. >> reporter: theresa may wants tougher security measures after the third major attack in three months. >> this was an attack on london and the united kingdom and also an attack on the free world. >> reporter: security remains tight and people are doing their best to go about their daily lives. forensic experts -- and prince harry and his teammates held a moment of silence before a polo match. president trump is reacting to the attack and will do whatever it takes to keep america safe. and to do that he needs the courts to approve his travel ban on muslims from six majority countries. >> i will do whatever is

necessary and work every single day to protect the safety and security of our country. >> some republicans and democrats are criticizing the president's ban saying the broad band is not the way to go and could incite more incidents. and the president seemed to imply that london's mayor was too soft in response to the attack. the president took the remarks out of context -- countries are cutting ties over qatar. they have 14 days to leave. qatar calls the accusations unjustified. here at home, advocates for immigrants are asking governor brown to throw his support behind the plan to provide healthcare for undocumented immigrants. jessica flores has the story

from oakland. >> undocumented children are eligible for medi-cal until they are 19 years old. a group is urging governor brown to extend that healthcare until the age of 26. a clinic in east oakland -- says many of his clients would benefit. >> they hit that 18-year-old mark and become a burden. >> the price tag for the plan, anywhere between 80 and $90 million. revenue coming from the proposition 56 tobacco tax. >> we want to make sure that the $87 million we're asking for is fully funded. >> opponents argue against public benefits for undocumented immigrants. by investing in preventive care, it could save californians. >> we did invest and it's actually more cost effective to

vote on a proposal to ban -- and boost turnout. this fall's city council election would mark the first time that a contest was decided solely by a mail vote. critics say it would prioritize incumbents. brian bunton is accused of felony obstruction of justice and misdemeanor -- the victim claimed she had sexual contact with 30 bay area officers. police are looking for a pair of thieves who robbed a lululemon store in berkeley. they grabbed $10,000 worth of merchandise and jumped in a car and sped off. no arrests have been made. the oakland zoo is delaying the opening of a new gondola

a one way rehab at sfo has been opened ahead of schedule. airport officials say the job was equivalent to repaving a 10- mile long highway. apple fans are gathered in san jose for the annual developers conference. the keynote speaker was apple's tim cook. >> reporter: thousands are inside the san jose convention

and births among women over 40 are climbing. a study found that pregnant women over 40 face a much higher risk of developing life- threatening conditions like kidney failure and heart problems. it's just one piece of the puzzle. overall, good health gives women the best chance of a complication free pregnancy. it's getting easier to make purchases with your phone. but if you're not careful. hackers can steal your private information. >> reporter: when using your phone to buy things you need to use an app from a bank, credit card or third party like paypal. according to the consumer confederation of america, some apps store more about you than you realize. like your name, home address and e-mail address. the contacts on your phone, your calendar, and what

bit. and in concord, 79 degrees. it will be sunny and on the chill side at the shoreline. at the east bay, numbers will warm into the upper 80s. changes are coming later in the week. future cast shows we'll get more low clouds overnight than last night. tomorrow not as much sunshine. you can see them filling in on the shore. and they will be lingering. tuesday we cool down a little bit. and high pressure builds in just enough to give us a warm start to the week. and then when that subsides, thursday, increasing clouds moving into a chance of showers. and then spreading south to the golden gate and a few light showers for everybody else. maybe a quarter of an inch to a half inch of rain. tonight sun setting at 8:28 and
