forecast, we will enjoy the sunshine and the smile to warm, above-average temperatures in the 60s to low 70s. so here's what you can expect. san francisco, 65. 70 in the san jose. as well as for concord. i will have the rest of your forecast, the full forecast, coming up. happy presidents' day. good morning. take a look at the roadways right now. really quiet. not a lot of cars on the roadways this morning. it is an easy ride as you work your way through. we are starting a lot of green, which is good news for those of you getting out early this morning. getting a closer look at the bay bridge, we have reports of a broken down vehicle. by the looks of it, it does not look like it is causing any delays or issues. just be aware of that. still an easy ride out of some miss. no official advisory, but careful as you work your way across the span. and it looks like things are very quiet at the golden gate

bridge with no troubles. and out to the coronavirus outbreak. new video from overnight as 300 americans returned to u.s. soil. the plane landed last night at travis air force base. this after being quarantined on a cruise ship off the coast of japan for 2 weeks. cbs's deborah has what's next for those passengers. >> reporter: u.s. citizens on the "diamond princess". bound for travis air force base. the cruise ship is the site of the largest coronavirus outbreak outside of china. it has been docked in tokyo's harbor since february 5th. with all on board under quarantine order. yesterday, its american passengers were offered a way out. >> the airplane takes you to the united states, that you can transport. all good with that? >> reporter: the state department chartered two planes and offered to fly them to the u.s. most accepted the offer. >> that is a good thing. pretty miserable wearing these masks. >> reporter: those travelers are not home free yep.

closed after a 6-year-old girl was attacked by what authorities think was a mountain lion. park rangers safety and will attack that girl about 2 miles from the main parking lot. park officials said the mountain lion came out of the brush, reaching for the girl's legs with his claws. i family friend pushed the lion away and ran off. this is extremely rare. effect, the first time something like this has happened at this park. but sightings are fairly common. >> just know what to do. being in large groups is the best thing to do. if you see one pictures of big, back away, make a lot of noise is. don't turn and run. >> wildlife services are using hound dogs to track the scent of the line leave to be an adult male. california fish and wildlife hopes to collect its dna, test it at its lap in sacramento, and then determined what action to take. authorities in wayne county are asking for help in finding mission couple.

rolling in. temperatures are in the mid to upper 40s to low 50s. 47 in concord. oakland, you're coming in at 38. 39 in san francisco. 50 in san jose. 43 for santa rosa. let's check the visibility. down to a half-mile at half moon bay at a quarter mile dense fog in livermore. so thick fog across the tri- valley this morning. here's what you can expect. it is a cool start to the day. temps in the 40s to low 50s with areas of fog. as we head through our afternoon, we will see that sunshine with mild to warm above-average daytime highs. and also gusty up in the hills with those offshore winds. and dry and mild as you look ahead to the rest of the week. were really going to need a winter storm to bring that beneficial rainfall. at this point, it does not look like that is going to be the case once again. it has been a very dry february

for us. here is that low pressure system that is ushering in those offshore winds. we just have the titans pressure gradient here. so as we go through the day, especially up in the hills, we will see those winds pick up. futurecast, you can see plenty of sunshine as we head through our afternoon. starting off the day tomorrow with those clouds, areas of fog. and then looking at plenty of sunshine for your tuesday. so let's check the winds, futurecast, wind gusts, and you can see especially up in the hills, or higher elevations, we will see the winds pick up a bit, up to about 30 miles per hour for the north bay mountains. and then using a little bit but you can see the winds still pretty strong up across the north bay mountains as we head through our day. so as we head through our afternoon, we are looking at highs topping out at 65 in san francisco. 68 in oakland. check out concord, 70 as well as for san jose. for a high, 72 in santa rosa as well as for forever. there is the exed forecast. mi sttch continuer us. tes wi be in the 60s tuesday, wednesday, as well as for thursday. a little bit warmer on friday and we're going to state mild and dry looking ahead to the weekend as well. let's check in with gianna.

we are seeing some pretty easy conditions as you work your way on the freeways this morning. and as well as our bay area bridges. live look here at the golden gate bridge, and it is an easy ride north and southbound. if you're heading into marin county, no delays. if you're heading southbound 101, into san francisco, traffic moving pretty light this morning. and goes, well, it looks like we're getting actually worse in the san mateo bridge as far as the fog goes. you can make up a couple cars there over on the right, but a bit foggy there. so careful over into foster city. san mateo bridge, not seeing any delays. but you might see some slightly slower speed because of that. also getting word of some foggy conditions as you work your way along 880 as well. the camera is really stockton. but 12 minutes, that is it for your drive time. other than that, earlier stolen

vehicle, we had at the bay bridge, it really does not look like it is causing any problems or may be cleared out of the roadway. here's a live look at the toll plaza, and you can see things are very light. no delays at all. in fact, if you're hitting the roadways early this morning, you are good to go from the east bay all the way to the san francisco. even our commute through the altamont pass is pretty quiet this morning. you are seeing nothing but green westbound, all the way into the livermore valley. thank you. a dear was the surprise visitor at a supermarket in indiana. look at this. a shopper at a kroger store captured video of the animal running fast. he was running through the isles on saturday night. staff tried in vain to catch the animal and eventually ran out of the store on its own. very fast. >> poor guys. >> maybe wanted some chips. smart snowmobile riders are playing their own version of soccer all. >> participants on a snow- covered field. if the better hits the ball, he or she must try to go around the bases. at the same time, they must stay in contact with their snowmobiles as they try to pick up the ball. >> the strategy is to try to
