the sacramento inland it does region use was actually up 60.7% and 3.2% respectively. checking with paul heggen. the drought situation, not getting any better. >> yeah. >> we have is going to just dry up now. >> right. >> amateurs tomorrow, just going to bake the biofuels. unfortunately, the fire danger won't be crazy high because the winds are that high, but we will have to keep an eye on with rain chances being few and far between. near record high temperatures tomorrow. then we start going off a little bit on friday. stronger on-shore breeze is going to kick in. to become an offshore breeze again saturday. that's when we will watch for the highest fire threat. we are going to turn cool of the weekend. sunday, normal temperatures are there's a chance for some passing showers next week. not going to make a dent in the drought, but we'll take it. now, looking outside the clear skies. no fog to meet with richard dropping to the upper 50s for us. still in the mid 60s for roosevelt west. above average for early able to

tomorrow, just a higher four to jump off and get up to the near record high temperatures by tomorrow afternoon. zoom in for a closer look for to present the upper 70s along the coast by noon and will:00. then the temperatures will drop off for the on-shore breeze reasserting itself. upper 80s to around 90 degrees around the south and the bay. and the peninsula, low 90s in the santa clara valley. 92 in san jose. one degree off for the high coverture. low 90s, widespread inland on the east bay. this is something we wouldn't even really blank at for july or august, but this is so far ahead of schedule for this kind of heat. fortunately, one day. temperatures, low 80s, mid to upper 80s for oakland and east bay. upper 80s for much of the north bay until we head brother inland with temperatures likely to top 90 degrees in santa rosa. reaching up into the lower 90s for northern napa and sonoma counties and inland-, county
11:19 pm
and lake county, as well. the tricky part for this forecast is the inland heat. that's well locked in. upper 80s and low 90s. the tricky part is also figuring out exactly what temperatures will top out for the bay and along the coast. we are going to start the day with offshore winds. not going to last all day. along the coast and around the bay, those ones are going to pivot by about mid afternoon. that's when our high temperature going to occur and start cooling off, as the marine air starts to make its way back in. if it happens an hour earlier, we're not going to risk the low 80s in san francisco. if it happens an hour later, we might risk the mid 80s and some disco. that's the risk that the temperature will drop off in the evening. the onshore breeze will be back on friday. it becomes stronger through friday afternoon, taking the rain error along the coast and pushing it further inland during the day. so, it's still going to be a warm day for inland parts of the bay area. just not the record-setting heat that we were going to see tomorrow. these temperatures do go downward through the weekend. we'll actually have below- average temperatures on the weekend to go with just a slight chance of passing

showers. the rain chances, more impressive than 24 hours ago. now the 30% to 40% range for monday and monday night. some forecast data, even hinting 80s and lingering into tuesday. those are lower chances overall. hopefully, as we get closer and closer to the storm system taking shape, we'll see a better chance of even a few hundred's of an inch of rain. it's about a long way to go with the heat wave picking tomorrow. still want inland on friday. look at the big drop in temperature, though. some disco and oakland for thursday through friday. 13-degree drop in both locations. well, 90 degree for san jose, similar temperatures in the 80s. similar parts for the east bay and north bay. cooling trend, back to average temperatures by sunday. monday, below-average temperatures. then the chance of showers, slowly starting to one up tuesday and wednesday for next week. just be ready to sweat through it. straight ahead at 11:00. how do you see this coming? every turn to the game for a familiar college basketball coach. how do you see this coming? different teammates at the nba
