the celebration last nate. it's now six trips to the nba finals in eight years. the warriors are no strangers to the league's biggest stage. but this one was a long road back to the finals. a little bit different than they had been doing in recent years. they had two years away from this one and last night the dubs defeated the mavericks to win the western conference finals of course. it's been a long couple of years since losing in the 2019 finals. think about what went into it. kevin durant left. klay thompson missed two seasons with two separate injuries. two years without making the playoffs, including the worst record in the league in 2019-2020 which led to james wiseman. all that adversity made last night that much sweeter. >> a tough few years it's been since the '19 finals. to get back again is special for all of us. >> this one is very sweet. the adversity the last two

cool ri now. it will be co head into the weekend. temperatures are gradually going to warm up. just plan on being a little bit on the cool side if you are going out to the carnaval parade. and temperatures will warm up a little bit more on sunday. the onshore breeze continues. a storm system moving into the pacific northwest continues to kick in that onshore breeze sending waves of cloud cover towards us. the clouds have been pretty much impossible to shake around the city and along the coast today. more sunshine farther inland. more clouds in tstore for everybody tomorrow. the darker the map looks, you are looking at the ground. not as much cloud cover for inland parts of the bay area. that fog and low cloud cover we started off with this morning towards the coast. widespread reduced visibility early saturday morning as the fog retreats towards the coast we will see more cloud cover moving in from the north and that gives us a chance, just a chance for a couple of showers north of the golden gate and along the coast. it's a 20% chance.

we are talking about just a little bit of drizzle. after that, the forecast completely dries out. not even that hint of moisture through most of next week. right now as we look outside a little bit of sunshine peeking through the clouds. mostly temperatures in the 60s. the warm spots, low 70s in livermore and in san jose. if you are heading out to the a.i.'s game, second game of the series, 62 degrees game time. it will be cool and brooeds. temperatures will tumble into the 50s throughout the course of the game. temperatures later on tonight mostly to where we started this morning, lower half of the 50s. some of the coolest spots the upper 40s. high temperatures tomorrow below average but mostly a couple degrees below average. slightly farther below normal in the east bay, 73 concord. only upper 50s on the coast once again. mostly low 70s down the peninsula and the south end of the bay with mid-70s in the santa clara valley. again those are the warmest

spots on the map for that part of the bay area. also inland in the east bay mid-70s from fairfield to antioch to brentwood. unusual to not have any 80 degree readings. low 60s in san francisco. mid-to-upper 60s for oakland and the east bay and mid-to-upper 60s 80s as well. sonoma above 70 degrees. that's the cooler bay of the bottlerock festival and temperatures in the 60s foort north as well. temperatures warm up a little bit on sunday except in san jose where a northerly breezy will deliver cooler bay air. close to steady. everybody warms up for memorial day close to normal temperatures with a brief stretch of above normal temperatures by tuesday and wednesday. that comes to an end with another wave of cool air and a stronger onshore breeze by thursday and friday. not the big temperature roller coaster ride we had earlier this week. more of a kiddie coaster through the holiday weekend. >> thanks. still ahead, posters for
