right now at 530. dozens of federal agents in tactical gear and face coverings denied entry to dodger stadium today by team officials, but not before they were greeted by a group of demonstrators. the u.s. department of homeland security says they were customs and border protection agents, not ice, and that their presence around the historic ballpark had nothing to do with the dodgers. jasmine viel shows us what happened outside the gates hours before tonight's game. >>dodger stadium. >>protesters swarming the area outside gate e at dodger

stadium thursday morning after spotting federal agents outside the stadium's parking lot. >>people say, you got to go. i said. out of l.a.. >>a line of lapd officers separating the agents standing next to their unmarked vehicles from the growing crowd. they saw that there's federal agents. here at one of the biggest institutions here in the city of los angeles, dodger stadium. and they're not happy. l.a. city councilwoman eunice hernandez calling on the dodgers to voice their support for the immigrant community. los angeles has 1.3 million immigrants. we have whole economies. even the sports industry thrives off the labor of immigrants and latinos. as did dodger fans. i just saw guys, like behind a door, like maybe putting on some tactical gear. i don't know how any fan comes to the game tonight. in a statement, the dodgers said this morning ice agents came to dodger stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. they were denied entry to the grounds by the organization. tonight's game

will be played as scheduled, but the department of homeland security's assistant secretary for public affairs, tricia mclaughlin, responding, saying this had nothing to do with the dodgers. cbp vehicles were in the stadium parking lot, very briefly unrelated to any operation or enforcement. we know the agents were here for about two hours, clocking the time that sky cam was overhead at one point, stadium officials tried to clear out the protesters so the agents could leave through this gate, eventually using another exit. my message is ice. if you're going to go after someone, go after the hard core criminals. >>that's all. we just need them to get out of here. >>raul claros with california rising is still calling for a boycott of the dodgers for taking so long to show their support for the immigrant community. we are boycotting games here at the stadium. we're not going tonight. no boycott. asking people to go to the small businesses. >>well, the dodgers are expected to make an announcement later today about how the team will assist the immigrant communities impacted by the recent raids in la.

well, a woman is speaking out more than a week after she was handcuffed by border patrol agents in los angeles while nine months pregnant. >>you're not breaking the window. you're not going to touch me. don't touch me. move away. i'm not touching >>you. carrie lopez alvarado was recording on her phone when she was approached by ice agents. the 23 year old u.s. citizen said she was standing up to them after they detained her boyfriend, who is undocumented. she was then handcuffed and held at her facility in san pedro for eight hours. during that time, she said she had she was chained from her hands to her legs. >>it was really like close to my stomach, so i would have my hands out the most i can so that i don't put too much pressure. i was just crying the whole time, but i knew i had to calm down because i had like, my baby inside. >>agents did release lopez alvarado after she complained of stomach pain. doctors told her she started having early

contractions. her baby was born four days later. lopez alvarado says her boyfriend is currently being held at an el paso detention center. she's trying to get him an attorney to fight his deportation. in the meantime, she is not facing any charges as the conflict between iran and israel enters its eighth day, the white house says president trump will decide whether to join the strikes against iran within the next two weeks. the white house says the president's decision will be based on whether iran can come to the negotiation table and meet american israeli demands on a nuclear deal. well, today, israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu says he trusts president trump's judgment on how to move forward. >>they strung him along. you don't string along donald trump. he knows. he knows the game. and i think that we're both committed to making sure that iran will not have a nuclear weapon. >>netanyahu made the comments while visiting a hospital in southern israel that was hit by

an iranian airstrike on thursday, injuring dozens. a large number of israelis were also hurt in a missile attack on a high rise building just outside of tel aviv. it comes as israel said it struck a heavy water reactor in iran. when we come back, we're going to meet the woman celebrating black voices and black stories on the big screen.

well, today on juneteenth, the san francisco black film festival kicks off at the delancey foundation theater that's on the embarcadero. and veronica macias caught up with the executive director, who's making sure the focus remains on black voices and black history.

>>politics are not to be friends. chris rea grew up watching her grandmother, ave maria montague, pop into theaters, get on stage and welcome people to the black film festival she founded back in 1998. chris father, kaleo rea, then took over things, and while she started directing sooner than expected, she stepped firmly into the role and is making sure her family's vision of providing a platform for black filmmakers, screenwriters and actors. because i think the other one that he. carries on in san francisco because mainstream media, she says, still portrays the black community with stereotypes or leaves them out entirely. >>going back to like the odor of my my grandmother was, her biggest thing was she wanted to be able to support african americans in our film and tell our stories, and we're the only ones who can tell it in a way that we can make the audience understand, because it's our story. it's not somebody else trying to

tell our story from their eyes. >>the stories on screen are promoting positive representation of the black community and are uplifting, while shedding light on the real hardships of the african american experience. >>we've always worked right side by side with the film on juneteenth festival, like the street fair. okay, so we've always had our film festival the same exact time as that film, our street fair. so it was almost like, this is fillmore, this is us. this is like how we celebrate who we are. >>the festival's executive producer says there could be no better place than what used to be known as the harlem of the west or the fillmore. at the time the festival started, it was once thriving, with jazz music filled with fashion and art. african americans flocked to fill shipyard jobs. here, some of the filmmakers have been returning for years and showcasing black voices. >>we've got kevin epps, a local filmmaker, and he's historically, part of the film

>>well, today felt, totally different from yesterday, primarily because of the wind. the wind chill specifically. but we are 20 degrees cooler on top of that in most places. see a little bit of the marine layer showing up here off the coast. you see the time lapse up here. look what's going on

as the clouds are starting to come in over, mount sutro and just kind of at the sutro towers in that. and the clouds are moving, but they're not making a whole lot of progress on shore. take a look at them here on the last. this is the last three hours of satellite. we're looking at the same thing. that's just the view of it from the salesforce tower looking west. this is the view from the satellite looking down. so you've got this great perspective of how much marine layer is out there. now let's see what's going to happen with this as we take this forward into we'll take this into tomorrow and we'll watch the fog build on tonight. overtakes it fills in most of the bay. so we are going to wake up and we're going to be looking at, marine layer gray to start the day tomorrow, only to watch it all melt back. so you're going to get plenty of sunshine as we get into the afternoon. but that marine layer is going to have its influence on the day. we'll take a look at temperatures. these are tomorrow's numbers. what i did in the last visit was show you how much cooler we are today. from yesterday, some of these places dropped 20 degrees from

yesterday's near 100 inland to today's mid 70s. and tomorrow you're pretty much going to be doing the same thing. so that's the thursday color code on here. but it's the same as tomorrow. these numbers actually apply to tomorrow. but they're virtually identical to what you did today. it might be a couple of degrees cooler tomorrow. and hate to say this, it is still going to be just as windy. watch what happens when we take a look at california on the whole. and we and we look for the wind streams that are sitting out there off of the coast. they're still ripping down the coastline at this point and giving us our 25 to 35 mile an hour gusts throughout the day tomorrow. this doesn't change. we still have one more day of this pattern to go. and if you're wondering what happened, how did yesterday was so much nicer? it wasn't windy like this in some places were as much as 20 degrees warmer. just a quick review on exactly what did happen with that. we saw this area of low pressure develop right off the coast and

set up shop. don't see it on the regular satellite, but when you take a look at the water vapor and we switch our vantage point on that, there's nothing here. you don't see anything off the coast. now you're going to see it. look at all the energy coming right down from the gulf of alaska. there's a little counterclockwise spin there. pile drives the coast, deepens the marine layer, forces everything onshore with it. that's what you're feeling out there today. this is going to take a good 24 to 36 hours to finally get out of here. and that means tomorrow is going to feel pretty much just like today. the real difference was today the 20 degree temperature drop in all of a sudden we noticed on top of that 20 degree temperature drop, there was a wind chill to go along with it. so that is your friday. unfortunately, it's going to be just like that. and then there is a bit of a warm up. so let's take a look at the seven day forecast. it's not a big warm up. it's it's the kind of warm up actually that you'd really like. it's the warm up that's going to get us back to average for this time of year. this is our inland microclimate. here's a cool friday that's just like today.
