best part, they simulate a dogfight, the target systems and guns are all working but they have it hooked up in a virtual sense with sensors. you get to line up the other fighter jet in your sensors and pull the trigger.if you get a good clean shot they even superimpose the image of smoke coming from the plane like you really hit them. they take two planes up at a time so you can battle with a friend of yours like a real dogfight. after the real thing i got a preview of the hawks 2 game. nothing can compare to the real thing but the game does look pretty good. it is the most realistic aerial combat game i have played. you go head to head in a close range dogfights, take off and land on bases in carriers, sweat through night precision bombing, track your targets using a silent uavs. they use high-resolution marshall satellite imagery of our real earth to give you a high degree of realism. so what was better? well, the real thing of course. but i do not think that i will do it again, i prefer to just play a game.
