to today so let's get to it out top story will be up in a moment but first a look it weather. >> george: a look from san jose, low clouds and fog that is in the mix this morning along with mist. this afternoon it is a different story the sun will be out in the clouds will part, we will be in the low seventies for north bay and the inland spots. really nice for a whole lot of folks. this evening the clouds will rowland, we have a cold front coming in. let's talk about what we expect here. we will begin with what we see today with the temperatures 52 and some francisco, not much warming it just yet, santa rosa 49 but you have to pick it up a couple of degrees, 52 of fairfield, 56 in antioch. mild start this morning with mild to low 50s, this afternoon we will

warming napa, in the north bay 71 cowell year high. 72 napa, 65 novato, 65 san rafael. san francisco 64 for you, 60 along the coast, san mateo 67, redwood city 73. nice and warm for you. 69 fremont, as we head towards the creek 72 degrees for you, concords similar conditions. also looking for six and nine in san jose as well. that's where the temperatures will be today, we do have a storm headed our way. we talked about it this morning this is the clouds as they track our way we will see the clouds build up tomorrow. as we head into the evening hours wednesday, and through the first half of thursday light showers bay area wide. beyond that

friday looking good, saturday not bad, sunday is tough. a system could come more weight giving us a chance of slight showers, at this point too many variables. we will pull it oputn with a pencil and leave it at that. >> george: we are watching an incident here to see if it would turn into a hot spot. thankfully they clear the lanes before backed things out. there was an accident on the right shoulder and center divider, they fear the vehicle from the center, what we see now is more typical pattern for 680 in the southbound direction. it will likely turn into a hot spot in about one hour, but so far you can see just a brief delay in the southbound direction. it looks as though we dodged a bullet. let's get to a bridge check the bay bridge westbound,

not much buildup or change your, it is uneven state for the west bound bay bridge with metering lights active for an hour now. ride to the san mateo bridge has been an easy one it continues to be problem free, the golden gate bridge ride 1 01 southbound, in from marin county through the fog but no delays. 1 01 through marin also looks good as well as the ride across the golden gate bridge. >> justine: new details on the gas line explosion pg&e has now provided new records as part of the public utility commission investigation. they said it was on preventable even if utilities had kept accurate records of the line. the investigation concluded pg&e is computerized records failed to identify zippered certain types of wild in the pipeline that exploded. in net 110 report they say their record discrepancy did not

for everybody including millionaires and billionaires, fought two wars, created a new and expensive prescription drug program and we didn't pay for any of it. as the saying goes there is no such thing as a free lunch. we were left with a big deficit, as i was coming into office, and then the worst recession since the great depression. that made it worse because of a recession to things happen, the federal government helps those states, localities to prevent teacher layoffs, firefighters and police officers from being laid off. all of that cost money. fe requires more money to provide additional help to people who love lost their jobs, or in danger to losing their homes if your federal government put more money out,

estimated by the budget office which is an independent bipartisan referee in congress that determines these things, they figure that seniors would end up paying twice as much for the health-care as they're currently. at least twice as much. more importantly, it would get worse over time. health-care inflation goes up a lot faster than regular inflation. your health care costs keep going up, up, the venture doesn't. each year, more, more cost of a pocket. i think that is the wrong way to go. that would change medicare as we know it. and i'm not going to set (no audio) for that. going to have to reform medicare, and their entire health-care system in order to improve quality for the amount of money we spend because we spend much more money in this country on health care than any other industrialized country and their outcomes and not better. that is what we started doing with health care reform last year. police said was let's not just of these additional costs on seniors, it is not hard to save the government money if you're saying here, you pay for it. that's not a solution the question is how we actually make health care costs lower overall? that means that we work with providers, to say how can you do a better job of providing care to the chronically ill? 15-20 percent of the patients account for 80 percent of the costs. because they have

chronic illnesses can read and semis providers to do a better job? monitoring those illnesses, preventing them. treating those illnesses in a comprehensive way, so the overall costs go down? can we stop with the five-six tests? all of which the cost money and just give you one test and have the results e- mail it to everyone you need to deal with. that can save us money. their whole host of steps that we can take that could make a big difference and reducing costs overall. keep the mind even if an automatic fare. >> justine: here listening to president obama speaking to a group of college students at virginia community college he was discussing his vision for bringing down the deficit and talking about medicare and medicaid. president

let's start with san jose we still have a big, big backup very slow traffic on 101 this slow traffic last all the way from the ballet up to the expressway an accident in the off ramp with one vehicle overturned is part of the reason for this slow traffic and for this backup from the parkway 87 onto 101 northbound take a look at the maps, solid red traffic which means speeds below 25 begins all the way back before the 280-680 interchange. a lot of this traffic tries to get on to 101 northbound. even highly-280 is pretty badly back that.ed up. highway-101 in shut down about directions because of a checked fire on

dog park in san jose is closed because of possible pet poisoning. a dog became ill and died after visiting butchers' park. >> if i had to get him to the bat real soon. i picked him up he was too weak to walk, i went to the car. i called my husband and then drove to the bat. i quickly carried him to the staff, i called them saying he was failing sec. they immediately started emergency resuscitation on him. they did the best they could. unfortunately was too late. the vet said that he was gone before he even came in. it's malicious, just awful. if somebody has issues with living near the dog park are dogs in general bring it up with the
