informations trade ahead. >> police have arrested the man accused of setting a man woman on fire. >> let's get more with george on our hot spots. >> interstate 80 in the west bound direction and early occurring accident has jammed the freeway. the drive times between 26 and 28 minutes it could continue to grow as we're still in the early part of the commute. >> also in the east bay another hot spot on the nimitz freeway where a stall bus blocks to lanes of traffic on 880 north bound. the traffic is jammed up from the coliseum. >> we had a lot of fog to contend with george. a fog advisory in effect for the east bay valley and the delta and the car keenness straight. >>uiinez straitrtunez strait.

we are about 15-20 minutes away from sunrise. it is interesting to see what it will look like once the sun comes up. visibility is about a quarter of a mile out here. >> very good jackie. we hope that burns off sooner rather than later. >> we are also following the story the vessel that slammed into the bay bridge as it was on its way out to sea remains in the san francisco bay as the and investigation into what caused the crash continues. kron fours will tran is on treasure island is morning in tells us what is going to happen. >> they have ruled out any mechanical damage they look at the instrument and say the instrument of your fine. visibility was a little foggy at the time of the collision. they say that should not have been a problem. here is video from the sky 7 hd you can see the
damage to the vessel as well as the bay bridge. they came out and discovered there was no oil in the water. the only fuel that was carried was the field of the vessel itself needed. >> there were cars on the bay bridge at the time. there were no reports of any injuries. they're looking into whether or not this was human error because there was a pilot that guides the vessel out to sea we had a chance to talk to caltran. they investigated the whole thing to make sure that the superstructure was fine. here's what they had to say about the damage to the bay bridge. the very first thing our inspectors look for is to make sure that the superstructure of the bay bridge is a. the initial investigation showed that the offenders who performed as it was designed. about 30-40 ft. of the system has
been damaged and will need to replace. it was damaged in the way it was supposed to it protected the bridge. there is no structural damage to the bay bridge. will not have to do it were on the bridge itself other than to repair the collision with the vendor system. >> obviously those repairs will not impact traffic. we do not know how long it will take to replace the offender. it did what it was supposed to do. the vessel was going a little faster than we thought. 13 mi. per hour top speed at 16. it was done exactly going slow. it is a damaged on this side above sea level. what will happen moving toward. they did toxicology test on the crew and the pilot to make sure there were so were the time of the collision. >> those results should come back in 48 hours from now. >> back to you darya. thank you will. >> we're learning more about the bar pilots. this bar

been slow going because of this. bids have stayed steady. it is 18 minutes but less if you are coming from the mimic freeway. we do expect things to slow down on 92 and the westbound direction. we are in the hour or we could see 15 to 20 minute drive times. so far the drive time is still rolling pretty well. there's still no surprises through marin county on 1 01 southbound. >> it is a foggy start for the morning we do have some pockets of dense fog. this is in the inland valley areas. in terms of temperatures it is not too much of a start out there.
