near castro valley road 3 employees were working when a robber entered the restaurant. good fortune may have saved lives. >> at that time, one of the victim employees tried to grab his arm of the robber. shots were fired and deputies shot and killinged the suspect. >> they are wondering if he was connected to otherrobberies in the area. a recent assault sent a man to the hospital. >> we are wondering what is going on in the neighbor and

. >> in the wake of the nsa surveillance scandal, social media is sharing thousands of records. >> reporter: facebook officials said friday that 10,000 requests have been made by government agencies in the last year for reasons varying from missing persons to terrorists. they have received thousands of

requests from information requesting 30000 accounts. the nsa was leaked by a cia contractor. in that program a multitude of information has been gathered from a who's who of data collecting like phone calls and e-mails. the president says data mining is legal and necessary for homeland security. facebook says the request from the government is small concerning there are billions of subscribers. many say the government is going to far. i am jeff bush at facebook
