francisco this morning. police are investigating a fatal stabbing that happened right after last night's giants-dodgers game near a-t and t park. kron four's will tran joins us live right now with what we've learned. will? >>will: this man's age and identity has not been released at this time. all we know is that he was and doctors to gear. we're not sure if that has anything to do with the dodgers and giants a rivalry that took

place. investigators are not sure of a motive at this time. hist brian stow was hit on the side of the head. if it turns out that this was a giants fan or fans in this case to attack this man because he was wearing dodgers gear. this is a huge storage we try to find out the motive. they don't know if the attackers were indeed giants fans. officials at san francisco state are offering counseling this morning after the shooting death of a student. this is video of the

suspect nikhom theph-a-kay- sone. taken right before the shooting. he's been arrested for the death of san francisco state pfft student justin valdez. valdez was killed monday night as he was leaving a

muni train at randolph and bright streets. just one mile away from san francisco state. his classmates are now speaking to kron four. they tell us, valdez was very nice and approachable.

valdez-- originally from southern california, was a member of the university's men's club water polo team. he was also member of an on-campus club called -- eco students. valdez was known for having a passion for solving environmental issues.

after 51 year-old david lamont was badly beaten early saturday morning after police say he approached a group of people outside his home who were making noise. lamont's wife then found him lying unconscious- unconscious in the street. people have identified the four people who were there during the assault. at this point they're not calling that person a suspect. authorities said the other three juvenile are considered witnesses to the incident. police are not releasing any more information on these four people but said they are cooperating with the investigation. what police are now calling on any of those four suspects at this point they say there's no evidence to suggest anyone was at the scene-else was at the scene during the attack. david lamont remains in critical condition this morning but police are hoping at some point his condition improved so they can ask him what transpired early saturday morning.

at 3:00 today, they'll try to convice an antioch appeals board to overturn the "vicious dog" determination. and bring their pit bulls home. a south bay teacher will be arraigned today for allegedly having sex with a student. school officials say.hugo cortes guzman.taught math at santa clara high school.

and was "as much in control of the situation" as rambold was. the judge has since apologized for that. *and for not knowing the state's minimum sentence for rape is 2-years. rambold is on probation for
