(pam) in the east bay... last night's storm caused heavy damage to several neighborhoods in the oakland hills. a mudslide damaged multiple homes in that area. bay area are working to remove downed trees... including one that crashed down on an east bay restaurant. this scene in newark looks like something out of a movie. a tree was uprooted and came crashing down onto the k-f-c on thornton avenue.. people passing by couldn't help but snap a picture. the enormous trunk up in the air - the rest caving in the roof. the city has red tagged the k-f-c...no word on when it will be able to re- open. (grant) a huge tree fell on a benecia home - sending one woman to the hospital. she got a pretty big gash on her head... when this tree came crashing down last night. she is expected to be o-k. another person was sleeping inside but did not get hurt. this video shows how massive this tree is. it crushed almost the entire home..just the garage is visible. . well, it was actually ok through most of the day. overcast, but late this afternoon the rain picked. up . at the moment the traffic is ok along 101 but it's probably going to be rainy throughout the night. natsfriday afternoon, rain returned to the north bay and with it came the usual problems of wet roads and downed trees.natsin larkspur, a pg and e crew worked to restore power after a fallen tree took out lines along estelle avenue.natsa few miles away in san anselmo, the creek was running high friday afternoon but nowhere near flood stage. along san anselmo avenue a dumster full of sandbags sits on standby for anyone who might need them. tree branches and leaves litter the sidewalks, leftovers from the strong winds and rain the night before.sot

"what it is, it's like, 'another one?!' i thought this

was over. it's been a common theme."they arrested brock on suspicion of felony domestic violence.he's now in the santa clara county jail."as an organization the 49ers acted pretty quickly. by 3:00 friday, brock was no longer part of the team."the one sentence news release said, quote "the san francisco 49ers today announced they have released c-b tramaine brock." "you can't do it much quicker than that to make sure you got all the i's dotted and the t's crossed. but i do appreciate the fact that domestic violence, something like that, get rid of 'em. no room for that."the defensive back is far from the first niners player to be in a situation like this.bruce miller is still facing felony charges after police say he beat up a man in his seventies and his adult son at a san francisco hotel last year.he pleaded not guilty to the charges, and is currently out on bail.ray mcdonald had domestic violence charges against him in 2015 that were later dropped.a grand jury indicted him on a rape charge, to which he also pleaded not guilty.eventually, the 49ers released mcdonald. miller is no longer with the team, either. down the street from where police are searching for a missing man. kron 4's dan kerman explains now it appears the two cases are connected. crime scene technicians, one carrying a shovel were back at this san bruno home friday where a dismembered body was discovered on thursday.sota portion of it was outdoors and a portion of it was inside the structurepolice discovered the remains after making contact with this man, david stubblefield, who lives in the house. he has now been arrested on a variety of chargessot ed barberini/san bruno police chief 22-30murder robbery burglary, unlawful possession and use of tear gas and being a felon in possession of a firearm. neighbors say just recently stubblefield put up a blue tarp in front of his car port but didn't know why.we've been here over 40 years and nothing like this ever happened here police made contact with stubblefield while searching for a missing man who lives down the street in this home. neighbors say they saw stubblefield at the missing man's home and spoke with him sot jose aguirre/neighbor of missing man 55-105he said his
