(vicki) nearly one month after fremont police shot and killed a pregnant 16- year-old... tonight they want to know why there is no video of what happened. undercover officers say they fired into a stolen car the girl was riding in -- when it tried to ram them. kron4's lydia pantazes is in antioch where she spoke to the family who is looking for answers... (pkg)"i need justice for ebbie" an emotional plea by family and friends of 16-year old elena mondragon at tuesday nights hayward city council meeting."that's not right, they killed a child."elena mondragon was killed by fremont police on march 14th in hayward when investigators say undercover officers tried to stop a stolen car wanted in connection with multiple armed

robberies.investigators say when they tried to stop the car the driver drove into the detectives police vehicles, injuring the two detectives. during the incident, the detectives fired their weapons at the suspect driving the vehicle and hit mondragon. "she's 16-years old, that's what needs to be remembered, she was sixteen."hayward police is one of the agencies investigating the shooting since it happened in their city.elena's family is demanding answers."we're not here to blame people and to find blame, were here to collect accountability from people, be it the person that was driving the car or the officers, someone needs to be accountable for their actions, my niece, she was innocent in this whole thing."miguel minjares is elenas uncle.the family asked investigators to release all video of the shooting but haywards police chief told the family there is no dash cam video of the incident and a body camera worn by one of the officers wasn't turned on during the incident."it was kind of a shock, i would have thought those things were meant for the protection of ourselves,

pulls a bottle of jagermeister to his face and starts screaming.pavan called police, there was a standoff that lasted several hours with the man eventually walking from the balcony to pavan's room. sot he's now in my bedroom and apparently he decided to strip down.and he starts dancing around in a window but they decide the better approach is to wait for hours and hours and hours in my bed naked which is absolute insanity right.officers would eventually go in and make the arrest of 22 year old nicholas davis of san francisco. fastforward to 3 a.m. wednesday morning when davis showed back up after being released from jail.sot heard a loud banging at the doordavis eventually left but pavan is outraged that he was allowed out of jail.sotit's one thing to police things too extremely.i'm genuinely concerned for my safety.who knows what he is going to doabsolute insanity.
