(justine) american airlines has suspended a flight attendant after a video showing an onboard clash went viral during a flight leaving s-f-o."hey bud, hey bud, you do that to me and i'll knock you flat." that passenger coming to the defense of a mother... after witnesses say... a male flight attendant violently took away her stroller just before she boarded a friday flight from san francisco to dallas. witnesses say she tried to put the stroller in the overhead bin. and the flight attendant took it down aggressively....coming just inches from hitting her baby.

american airlines releasing this statement today about the incident .... (justine) "what we see on this video does not reflect our values or how we care for our customers. " "we are deeply sorry for the pain we have caused this passenger and her family and to any other customers affected by the incident. " american airlines did rebook the mother and her child in first class all the way to their final destination of argentina. as for the man who got in the arguement...it is against federal law to threaten a flight attendant. (jrstone) tonight-- the father of a missing sacramento girl is pleading for her to come home. 17-year-old kamryn bresee was last seen on wednesday at her mother's home in brentwood. her family is growing increasingly concerned. according to her father... breesee has bipolar disorder and is insulin dependent. he says she did have "some" insulin medicine on her when she went missing... but he fears it won't last long.

(john mccarthy/father of missing girl): "we are all terribly scared, and worried and we love you so much - and i know it's typical dad stuff though but i just want my baby home, that's all" mccarthy says bresee has a history of disappearing and getting mixed up with the wrong crowd... but she always returns honme within a day. both brentwood and pittsburg police detectives are now on the case - fearing she may be a target of sex trafficking. for mccarthy-- it doesnt matter why she left-- all that matters is getting her back safely. (jr stone) thousands of marchers in support of the scientific community gathered in san francisco this morning. (justine) the rally protested against negative political interference in scientific research and development. the fear is that the questioning of science by the political climate in the current administration in washington... will result in serious cutbacks in scientific research. those speaking at the rally hoped to transcend idealogy and rely on scientific fact. organizers of the event were hopeful that the size of the crowd would shed light on the threat science is facing. (philippe) in san jose... police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and two others wounded. a witness says the shooting happened in the parking lot of the motel 6 on the alameda. the gunshots were reported just before 3-30 in the morning. investigators remained on scene well into the afternoon. but right now... police have not shared any information on the gunmen or announced any arrests. the motel stayed open for business through the investigation. in san jose, philippe djegal, kron four news. returned and the temperatures cooled a few degrees today. there were even a few showers that popped up in the north bay. you can see the weak weather system moving thorugh the state and the scattered showers too. highs today were cooler than normal and mainly in the 60s. we'll just see some passing clouds tonight and into tomorrow morning but then more sunshine tomorrow afternoon. i don't think we're done with the rain just yet. i'm tracking another possible rain maker and i'll show you the latest coming up in a few minutes.

- 9:35 and happening today, fleet week is kicking off in san francisco, and there are events all over the city. there's a disaster response training demonstration happening over at pier 50, and that's where kron4's terisa estacio is this morning. hi terisa. - good morning darya, and good morning everyone. what's important about this kind of drill as that you guys are able... so we're doing a story about a drill. i've never really understand drills. just because it's their job to do a drill. i'm never understanding why television stations want to do a story about how people are doing their jobs.
