( darya ) breaking news from overnight... a car crashes through a house in the east bay.( mark ) it happened in walnut creek. will tran is live on the scene with the latest. will. ( will ) i am in walnut creek where a car went crashing through this house early this morning and while the family was inside. investigators say a car was traveling at an unknown rate of speed when it missed a turn and went right through a bedroom that had been converted into an office. there was a family inside the home but nobody was injured.

(darya) and take a look at the damage after someone drove into a building in napa. it happened early yesterday morning on sierra avenue. police say the driver was unfamiliar with the area and couldn't maneuver a turn in time.... driving into the building that appears to be some sort of business. luckily nobody was injured. (darya) three armed attackers are on the loose this morning after a woman was raped near a church. it happened in east oakland late friday night. police have not released much information about the attack... but they say it happened on fruitvale avenue,

right near the saint jarlath church. police say three men held the woman at gunpoint while they raped her. people who live in the area are now on edge. (darya) investigators haven't released a description of the men. the victim was treated at the hospital for her injuries. (mark) u-c berkley is bracing for some trouble this week... conservative commentator ann coulter has vowed to speak in defiance of the school's wishes. (darya) anny hong has the details. anny? (anny) the showdown continues and ann coulter is determined to speak at uc berkeley this week. in a twitter rampage and a fox news appearance, she accused the school of canceling the event and vowed to speak as planned. the berkeley college republicans say they will sue

the university if they don't find a proper time and venue for the conservative commentator to speak by thursday. the lawyer who represents the college republicans says the school is violating the students' constitutional right to free speech. the coulter event was canceled last week due to security concerns. this comes after violent clashes between protestors earlier this year when alt-right figure milo yiannopolis was supposed to speak on campus. the school offered an afternoon event on may second, but coulter rejected it saying there are no classes that week because students are studying for their final exams. everyone we spoke with says coulter should be allowed to speak. (anny) the u-c berkeley chancellor says police have very specific information about threats that could pose a danger to the

speaker and her audience if the event goes ahead on thursday. we will continue to monitor this situation and bring you any updates as they become available. ( mark ) golden state warriors head coach steve kerr is sitting out game four of the playoffs tonight against the portland trail blazzers.( darya ) kerr was also out for game three and says he is experiencing more problems since having two back surgeries two years ago. assitant coach mike brown took over saturday and the warriors overcame a 17-point first-half deficit to take a three-zero lead in the series.( mark ) for the last year and a half, kerr has been dealing with chronic pain after his back surgery in july of 20-15. it is unclear when kerr will return. < "this is not going to be a case where i'm coaching one not and not coaching the next, i'm not going to do that to our team, our stay we're

(darya) police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a 21-year-old man in hayward. this happened on fielding drive, near cal state east bay saturday night. at the scene, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. he died at the hospital. there is no description of the shooter. this is hayward's second homicide of the year. ( darya ) a california judge has ruled a man is mentally competent to stand trial for killing seven former classmates in oakland in 2012. government officials say a trial was ordered friday for "one goh". he's scheduled to appear in court wednesday. the former nursing student is charged with killing seven

and injuring three during a 20-12 shooting at "oikos university." his trial was put on hold after a judge determined goh had a mental illness... that prevented him from understanding his defense. prosecutors say goh dropped out of oikos several months before the shooting and wanted his tuition refunded. < hey bud, hey bud, you do that to me and i'll knock you flat. you stay out of this! hey hey hey!!!>( mark ) american airlines has suspended this flight attendant after this video surfaced, showing tense moments before a flight left s-f-o friday night. the incident started after a flight attendant took a stroller away from a mother just before a flight took off. witnesses say she tried to put the stroller in the overhead bin. they say the flight attendant took it down aggressively hitting her with it and coming just inches from hitting her baby. another passenger jumps to her defense and starts shouting at the flight attendant. we

spoke to travelers at s-f-o who say they were shocked by the video. < i mean i was appauled i. i couldn't believe that someone would go and take a stroller from a mother's hands like that. i mean why would they. i mean it made me consider what airlines i'd use and what airlines i'm gonna boycott. > ( mark ) american airlines has apologized for the incident saying the video does not reflect their values. the mother and her family were eventually put on another flight home. ( mark ) and this incident comes just weeks after a man was violently dragged off of a united airlines flight in chicago. dr. david dao suffered a concussion and a broken nose and teeth when he refused to give up his seat to a united employee. his family says they will file a lawsuit against united airlines. ( darya ) a toddler is recovering this morning after nearly drowning in the east bay. it happened last night at a home in concord. police say a 20-month-old child fell into a hot tub. family members quickly rescued the child from the hot tub and performed c-p-r until an

ambulance arrived. the child was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition this morning. ( darya ) happening now... police are looking for two men who broke into a car, stole credit cards and spent thousands of dollars in marin county. here is a look at pictures of who police are searching for. it happened on thursday at the dickson ranch. the men broke into a woman's car while she was horseback riding and stole four credit cards. they then spent about five-thousand dollars at nordstrom and macy's. police say there have been numerous break-ins at different trails in the area. ( darya ) police say the victim may have been targeted since her car was the only one broken into that day. ( mark ) the man accused

of murdering his neighbor and dismembering his body in san bruno will be back in court today. police say the murder happened in march when 50 year-old david stubblefield got into a fight with the victim over a space heater. the body was not found until earlier this month. stubblefield is being held on 10 million dollars bail. (mark) this morning we are still waiting to find out how former happy days star erin moran died over the weekend. (darya) anny hong has the details on the star's troubled days leading up to her death. anny? (anny) erin moran was found dead on saturday at just 56-years-old. she was best known as joanie cunningham in the sitcom "happy days". she later appeared with scott baio in the "happy days" spinoff "joanie loves chachi." police in indiana say moran was found unresponsive after authorities received a 9-1-1 call. and this morning there are still a lot of questions about her death. she had a series of personal and financial struggles and at times was reported to be homeless. moran had also

been the subject of tabloid reports that she and her husband were living in a trailer in indiana since losing her home to foreclosure in california... but were later kicked out because of excessive partying. officials say they are still investigating her cause of death. moran's former costars tweeted their condolences, saying they will always remember her as lighting up t-v screens. (mark) a san mateo county judge has ordered a former police officer to stand trial. he is accused of raping five women while on duty. last year prosecutors charged noah winchester with raping the women between july 2013 and october 20-15. investigators say the attacks happened while winchester served with the san mateo police department and as an officer for the los rios community college district in sacramento. winchester quit the police department in febuary 2016. (mark) happening today... the tennessee teacher occused of kidnapping a 15- year-old student is due in court. tad cummins was arrested in a cabin near

redding last week, almost two-thousand miles away from elizabeth thomas' home. elizabeth is back with her family after disappearing for five weeks. cummins was charged with transporting a minor across state lines to have sex. he could spend at least ten years in prison. cummins is set to be arraigned in sacramento. ( darya ) happening now.... police are looking for a missing five-year-old boy last scene in south pasadena. police say the boy and his dad were in a car together saturday morning. officers later found the car near a park, with his dad unconscious and the boy missing. police were alerted by the boy's mom...who reported her husband never showed for their scheduled child swap. they're in the middle of a divorce and custody battle. the dad was taken to the hospital and then later arrested on

suspicion of child endangerment. (darya) a 4-year-old girl is expected to be released from the hospital today after she tumbles out of the back of a moving bus in the middle of a busy highway. in this video you can see the back door of the bus springing open and the young girl plummeting to the road. it happened in arkansas on wednesday... but the video is just being released. a man who was driving behind the bus is a trained medial technician and his dash camera was recording when it happened. he pulled over and ran to the girl's rescue. he says she was unconscious at first but he cradled her and talked to her until she came around.

a broken jaw and needed surgery. it is unclear if she opened the door or if it wasn't locked. her mother says she does not blame the driver of the bus and she is just focusing on her daughter's recovery. ( mark ) the u.s government is on high alert this morning after north korea threatened to take out a u-s aircraft carrier in the western pacific ocean. north korea says it is prepared to sink a u.s. aircraft carrier group conducting drills near the philippines -- and that it has weapons which can reach the continental u.s. this threat comes a day after an american citizen was detained at the pyongyang airport. ( mark ) the u-s is not backing down. japanese destroyers are participating in drills with the u-s aircraft carrier near the phillippines.

( mark ) for the first time in decades, voters have rejected france's main political parties. instead voters opted for two outsiders in a run-off for the french presidency. centrist emmanuel macron and far-right leader marine le pen advanced to the second round of voting. the final outcome of this historic vote has the potential to transform the political landscape in europe and beyond. macron and le pen now advance to the may 7th runoff election. (darya) 4 your money... the average price of continues to rise. analysts say drivers could see price increases slow down as crude oil costs drop. the national average is 28 cents per gallon above the price one year ago. and here is a look at bay area prices this morning. in oakland the average cost for a regular gallon of gas is $3.02. in san jose it is two cents higher at $3.04. and in san francisco it is $3.15.

(mark) more of your favorite retail stores are shutting down as the industry is facing more closures this year than ever before. clothing chain bebe just announced they are closing all of it's stores by the end of may. they have more than 130 locations across the u-s. this comes as a report released earlier this month says it's possible that more than 86-hundred brick- and-mortar stores will close it's doors this year. macy's, j-c penney, j-crew, and payless are among those suffering and closing hundreds of store fronts as more people turn to online shopping. (mark) an oregon teenager has sold one million dollars in custom socks... and he hasn't even graduated high school yet. brennan agranoff started his business called "hoop swag" in his parents garage. he gets

100 new sock orders every day for the more than 500 designs that he comes up with himself. é one of his most popular designs features pictures of goats that his family owns. he says his designs are random and based on current events. brennan's dad invested in his business... and the teen already has one million dollars in sales. each pair of socks costs 15- dollars and are only sold online. brennan says he plans to graduate high school early and work for his company full-time before pursuing college. ( mark ) happening now... s-f-o is experiencing dozens of flight cancellations and delays because of runway construction. this is a live look outside from our s-f-o camera. 51 flights have been cancelled today and so far there have been 30 delays. s-f-o had more 155 flight cancellations yesterday alone. the airport is upgrading one of its runways used primarily for arriving flights. there are set to be six more weekend closures up until june 12th. (darya) two men are in the hospital this morning after being shot in richmond.

the shooter is still on the loose. the two men were walking on gertrude avenue around 4:00 yesterday morning when they were shot by at least one person. the victims are 19 and 28 years old. there is no description of the attacker. (darya) the man accused of killing four people in fresno is admitting to the murders.... and he says he did it because he hates white people. ( darya ) anny hong has more details on the killings. ( anny @ land ) muhammad spoke on the phone from the downtown fresno jail. police say his killing spree began at a motel-six. muhammed says he murdered a security guard for disrespecting him and his friend. a few days later...he says he shot four white men, killing three of them. he says he also shot a woman un-intentionally. muhammad argues he is not a terrorist.

through. that's why i snapped."> ( anny @ land ) right now, muhammad is only facing charges related to the murder of the security guard. the other murder charges will likely be filed sometime this week. muhammad's attorney has asked for a mental evaluation to see if he is competant to stand trial. (mark) a driver who ran his car into two berkeley police officers is still at large. it happened over the weekend on derby street. (ááátriggerááá) police say as they were talking to the driver, he sped off and then started driving his car towards the two officers. the driver crashed his car a few blocks away and hasn't been found. none of the officers were hurt. ( darya ) happening today... convicted murderer and former new england patriot aaron hernandez will be buried. hernandez was found hanging from a bedsheet in a massachusetts prison cell last week. it happened just days after he was found not guilty in a double-murder

trial. hernandez was already serving a life- sentence for the murder of his former friend back in 2013. a judge has ordered all evidence connected to hernandez's death be preserved. his family is considering filing a lawsuit claiming "negligence" by the prison for his death. (darya) five people are dead including three children after a fire gutted a family home in new york city. the youngest of the victims is believed to be only two-years old. one man escaped the fire by jumping through a second-story window. according to investigators, some of the victims were trapped by flames in the attic yesterday afternoon. the mayor of new york city says this is the deadliest fire the city has seen in two years. investigators are still trying to figure out how it started. ( mark ) congress now has less than a week to approve a spending bill to avoid a government shutdown. one of the biggest issues with a spending bill is with the president's proposed border wall. the white house is signaling that the money for the wall must be included in

the spending legislation so they can begin building the wall: ( mark ) many democratic lawmakers strongly oppose using money from the budget to construct the wall along the southern border. the president took to twitter yesterday saying mexico will eventually pay for the wall. ( mark ) this saturday will mark 100 days in office for president trump. he will hold a rally next weekend in pennsylvania to mark the occassion. the rally comes after president trump called the 100-day mark of a president a "ridiculous standard." the rally will take place on the same day as the annual white house correspondents' dinner-- which the president has decided not to attend. (darya) happening today... an american astronaut will receive a congratulatory call from president trump. this morning peggy whitson set a new u-s record for spending the most cumulative days in space. astronaut jeff

williams held the previous record, spending 534-days in orbit. whitson is currently doing her third stint on the international space station. she is also the only woman to serve as a station commander twice. (mark) a group of bay area high school students are celebrating winning a robotics world championship . the team called-- the resistance-- from nibot robotics in santa clara won the vex robotics world championship over the weekend. this is the world's largest robotics competition. the team was up against more than one- thousand teams from more than 30 different countries. the championship is an opportunity for students across the world to learn about robotics, organizers say the ultimate goal is encouraging teamwork and diversity. (mark) a milwaukee woman says she was burned when her fitbit exploded on her wrist. these are pictures of the second degree burns she recived when it exploded. (darya) the woman says she had the activity tracker for only two weeks... and there was nothing wrong with the device before it exploded. (mark) fitbit issued a statement saying the problem is being investigated. the company also says they are not aware of any other complaints of this type. guard russell westrbook went on a rant defending his teamates after their loss against the houston rockets.( darya ) the thunder gave up their lead as westbrook sat on the bench late in the fourth quarter yesterday. a reporter asked thunder center steven adams about the team playing poorly without westbrook in the game. so westbrook took the mic. take a listen.

(darya) the atlanta falcons wide receiver tweeted a note he received from fellow passengers on a flight to new jersey. it was from a family, thanking him for setting a positive example for their 10-year-old son. the boy is a hockey player and was on his way to a training camp. the family said he watched sanu as he studied his plays, made healthy snack choices, and was polite to everyone. the note is signed, "the family that sat behind you." the atlanta falcons also weighed in on twitter, calling sanu "a role

people who work at mcdonald's is sparking a lot of criticism this morning. they collaborated with two fashion designers to come up with the new look. but many people turned to social media to slam the lack of color. words like "dark," "soul-crushing" and "mcdeathstar" are being thrown around. others say the uniforms look like something out of the "hunger games." nearly 850- thousand employees will wear them... but in a survey, 70-percent of workers say they like the new look. ( will ) i am in walnut creek where a car went crashing through this house early this morning and while the family was inside. investigators say a car was traveling at an unknown rate of speed when it missed a turn and went right through a bedroom that had been converted into an office. there was a family inside the home but nobody was injured.

(anny) this morning police are looking for three armed attackers. the assault happened late friday night in east oakland. police have not released much information about the attack... but they say it happened on fruitvale avenue, right near the saint jarlath church. police say three men held the woman at gunpoint while they raped her. people who live in the

( mark ) a toddler is recovering this morning after nearly drowning in the east bay. it happened last night at a home in concord. police say a 20-month-old child fell into a hot tub. family members quickly rescued the child from the hot tub and performed c-p-r until an ambulance arrived. the child was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition this morning. ( darya ) happening now... police are looking for two men who broke into a car, stole credit cards and spent thousands of dollars in marin county. here is a look at pictures of who police are searching for. it happened on thursday at the dickson ranch. the men broke into a woman's car while she was horseback riding and stole four credit cards. they then spent about five-thousand dollars at nordstrom and macy's. police say there have been numerous break-ins at different trails in the area. they also say the victim may have been targeted since her car was the only one broken into that day. will sue the university if they don't find a proper time and venue for coulter to speak this week. the lawyer who represents the college republicans says the school is violating the students' constitutional right to free speech. the coulter event was canceled last week due to security concerns. this comes after violent clashes between protestors earlier this year when alt-right figure milo yiannopolis was supposed to speak on campus. the school offered an afternoon event on may second, but coulter rejected it saying there are no classes that week because students are studying for their final exams. everyone we spoke with says coulter should be allowed to speak. (anny) the u-c berkeley chancellor says police have very specific information about threats that could pose a danger to the speaker and her audience if the event goes ahead on

( darya ) the hunt continues this morning for a gunman áorá gunmen after a deadly motel shooting in san jose. this happened around 3:30 early saturday morning the motel 6 at the alameda. police say three people were shot. one was killed and two others continue to recover from non-life threatening injuries. there is no clear description of who police are looking for this morning. ( mark ) the u.s government is on high alert this morning after north korea threatened to take out a u-s aircraft carrier in the western pacific ocean. north korea says it is prepared to sink a u.s. aircraft carrier group conducting drills near the philippines -- and that it has weapons which can reach the continental u.s. this threat comes a day after an american citizen was detained at the pyongyang airport.

s-f-o is experiencing dozens of flight cancellations and delays because of runway construction. this is a live look outside from our s-f-o camera. 51 flights have been cancelled today and so far there have been 30 delays. s-f-o had more 155 flight cancellations yesterday alone. the airport is upgrading one of its runways used primarily for arriving flights. there are set to be six more weekend closures up until june 12th. ( mark ) two men are in the hospital this morning after being shot in richmond. the shooter is still on the loose. the two men were walking on gertrude avenue around 4:00 yesterday morning when they were shot by at least one person. the victims are 19 and 28 years old. there is no description of the attacker. ( darya ) the man accused of killing four people in fresno is admitting to the murders. from his jail cell, kori muhammad says he did it because he hates white people. muhammad spoke on the phone from the downtown

fresno jail. police say his killing spree began at a motel-six. muhammed says he murdered a security guard for disrespecting him and his friend. a few days later...he says he shot four white men, killing three of them. he says he also shot a woman un-intentionally. muhammad says he is not a terrorist. ( darya ) right now, muhammad is only facing charges related to the murder of the security guard. the other murder charges will likely be filed sometime this week. muhammad's attorney has asked for a mental evaluation to see if he is competant to stand trial. ( mark ) a san mateo county judge has ordered a

former police officer to stand trial. he is accused of raping five women while on duty. last year prosecutors charged noah winchester with raping the women between july 2013 and october 20-15. investigators say the attacks happened while winchester served with the san mateo police department and as an officer for the los rios community college district in sacramento. winchester quit the police department in febuary 2016. ( mark ) the man accused of murdering his neighbor and dismembering his body in san bruno will be back in court today. police say the murder happened in march when 50 year-old david stubblefield got into a fight with the victim over a space heater. the body was not found until earlier this month. stubblefield is being held on 10 million dollars bail. ( darya ) a driver who ran his car into two berkeley police officers is still at large. it happened over the weekend on derby street. (ááátriggerááá) police say as they were talking to the driver, he sped off and then

started driving his car towards the two officers. the driver crashed his car a few blocks away and hasn't been found. none of the officers were hurt. ( darya ) happening today... convicted murderer and former new england patriot aaron hernandez will be buried. hernandez was found hanging from a bedsheet in a massachusetts prison cell last week. it happened just days after he was found not guilty in a double-murder trial. hernandez was already serving a life- sentence for the murder of his former friend back in 2013. a judge has ordered all evidence connected to hernandez's death be preserved. his family is considering filing a lawsuit claiming "negligence" by the prison for his death. ( mark ) five people are dead including three children after a fire gutted a family home in new york city. the youngest of the victims is believed to be only two-years old. one man escaped the fire by jumping through a second-story window. according to investigators, some of the victims were trapped by flames in the attic yesterday afternoon. the mayor of new york city says

( darya ) happening today... the tennessee teacher occused of kidnapping a 15-year-old student is due in court. tad cummins was arrested in a cabin near redding last week, almost two-thousand miles away from elizabeth thomas' home. elizabeth is back with her family after disappearing for five weeks. cummins was charged with transporting a minor across state lines to have sex. he could spend at least ten years in prison. cummins is set to be arraigned in sacramento. ( mark ) congress now has less than a week to approve a spending bill to avoid a government shutdown. one of the biggest issues with a spending bill is with the president's proposed border wall. the white house is signaling that the money for the wall must be included in the spending legislation so they can begin building the wall:

this morning after a woman was raped near a church. it happened in east oakland late friday night. police have not released much information about the attack... but they say it happened on fruitvale avenue, right near the saint jarlath church. police say three men held the woman at gunpoint while they raped her. people who live in the area are now on edge. (darya) investigators haven't released a description of the men. the victim was treated at the hospital for her injuries. ( mark ) u-c berkley is bracing for some trouble this week... conservative commentator ann coulter has vowed to speak in defiance of the school's wishes. in a twitter rampage and a fox news appearance, she accused the school of canceling the

event and vowed to speak as planned. the berkeley college republicans say they will sue the university if they don't find a proper time and venue for coulter to speak by thursday. the lawyer who represents the college republicans says the school is violating the students' constitutional right to free speech. the coulter event was canceled last week due to security concerns. this comes after violent clashes between protestors earlier this year when alt-right figure milo yiannopolis was supposed to speak on campus. the school offered an afternoon event on may second, but coulter rejected it saying there are no classes that week because students are studying for their final exams. everyone we spoke with says coulter should be allowed to speak. ( mark ) the u-c berkeley chancellor says police have very specific information about threats that could pose a danger to the speaker and her audience if

(darya) police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a 21-year-old man in hayward. this happened on fielding drive, near cal state east bay saturday night. at the scene, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. he died at the hospital. there is no description of the shooter. this is hayward's second homicide of the year. ( darya ) a california judge has ruled a man is mentally competent to stand trial for killing seven former classmates in oakland in 2012. government officials say a trial was ordered friday for "one goh". he's scheduled to appear in court wednesday. the former nursing student is charged with killing seven and injuring three during a 20-12 shooting at "oikos university." his trial was put on hold after a judge determined goh had a mental illness... that prevented him from understanding his defense. prosecutors say goh

( mark ) a toddler is recovering this morning after nearly drowning in the east bay. it happened last night at a home in concord. police say a 20-month-old child fell into a hot tub. family members quickly rescued the child from the hot tub and performed c-p-r until an ambulance arrived. the child was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition this morning. ( darya ) happening now... police are looking for two men who broke into a car, stole credit cards and spent thousands of dollars in marin county. here is a look at pictures of who police are searching for. it happened on thursday at the dickson ranch. the men broke into a woman's car while she was horseback riding and stole four credit cards. they then spent about five-thousand dollars at nordstrom and macy's. police say there have been numerous break-ins at different trails in the area. they also say the victim may have been targeted since her car was the only one broken into that day.

(mark) just in to kron four... former "happy days" star erin moran likely died from cancer. a statement just released says an autopsy revealed the 56-year-old actress had stage-four cancer, but doesn't specify what type. moran was found dead on saturday at her southern indiana home. she was best known as joanie cunningham in the sitcom "happy days". she later appeared with scott baio in the "happy days" spinoff "joanie loves chachi." she was just 56-years-old. ( mark ) two men are in the hospital this morning after being shot in richmond. the shooter is still on the loose. the two men were walking on gertrude avenue around 4:00 yesterday morning when they were shot by at least one person. the victims are 19 and 28 years old. there is no description of the attacker. ( darya ) the man accused of killing four people in fresno is admitting to the murders. from his jail cell, kori muhammad says he

county judge has ordered a former police officer to stand trial. he is accused of raping five women while on duty. last year prosecutors charged noah winchester with raping the women between july 2013 and october 20-15. investigators say the attacks happened while winchester served with the san mateo police department and as an officer for the los rios community college district in sacramento. winchester quit the police department in febuary 2016. ( mark ) the man accused of murdering his neighbor and dismembering his body in san bruno will be back in court today. police say the murder happened in march when 50 year-old david stubblefield got into a fight with the victim over a space heater. the body was not found until earlier this month. stubblefield is being held on 10 million dollars bail. ( darya ) a driver who ran his car into two berkeley police officers is still at large. it happened over the weekend on derby street. (ááátriggerááá) police say as they were talking to the driver, he sped off and then

this is dash camera video from ryan ciampoli - a licensed emt and volunteer firefighter for crawford county.ryan ciampoli/emt, volunteer firefighter "i saw it happening, and it blew my mind, it was like i wasn't even seeing what i was seeing." you can see he is driving down highway 65 in harrison when the back door of that bus flings open.hanging on to it, is a four year old girl.she falls to the pavement, and the bus continues to drive away. ciampoli immediately went into action.ryan ciampoli/emt, volunteer firefighter "obviously you want to leave her there, if shes not in danger, but obviously we're in the middle of a state highway, so i couldn't leave her just laying there."ciampoli says she was unconscious at first - but started to wake up when he approached her. he picked her up - and carried her off the road where they laid her on a truck bed in a nearby parking lot - and got to work keeping her conscious and checking her vitals.ryan ciampoli/emt, volunteer firefighter "then the shock kicked in in her little body and she started kicking and screaming and "where's my mommy?" and things like that, stuff like that is really heartbreaking." it took about 5 minutes for
