in pacifica have arrested a man... after finding thousands of child pornography images on a computer in his home. 28-year old marlon ramirez was arrested after pacifica police served a search warrant at a home on eastridge circle. police and the fbi were able to recover 14,000 child pornographic images from devices inside the home. ramirez has been booked into the san mateo county jail. (steve)new tonight, the pacifica police department is looking for two men who may have burglarized five homes on monday.all of the break ins occurred during daylight hours, with the thieves targeting residences with no one home. kron 4's charles clifford is live for us tonight in pacifica with

details. charles. . . well, all of these break ins occurred here in the linda mar area of pacifica. police say that all the homes were empty at the time, but fortunately neighbors did see the suspects and their vehicle was captured on surveillance video according to the pacifica police department, five different homes were burglarized on monday between 7 in the morning and 4pm. the thieves apparently struck homes along stanley avenue, montezuma drive, manzanita drive and two homes on view way. in all cases the suspect targeted empty homes and gained entry by breaking in through rear windows or doors. they also appeared to be looking for jewelry, laptops, tablets and personal electronics. investigators believe that all of the burglaries were committed by the same people.sotbased on the time of occurrence and the method that was used by the burglars we do believe it was

(vicki) yeah pam and steve... there's nothing more miserable...and it appears to be spreading at bay area schools. officials tonight confirming an outbreak of viral gastroenteritis, or stomach flu in the south bay. they haven't yet pinned it on the notorious - norovirus. symptoms include fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and severe stomach pain. some 245 cases in santa clara county since may 4th... 200 of those were in san jose. 10 -schools in san jose have been affected, and 2 others in santa clara county. in nearby alameda county- hacienda middle school has had 88 cases of suspected

norovirus. schools are scrubbing down classrooms to reduce exposure to the bug. in yolo county. health department officials say more than 9-hundred students and staff are recovering from the norovirus. there's a total of 952 cases in 32 yolo county schools. authorities say the illness has been spreading at an alarming rate. people are being urged to wash their hands regularly to prevent the spread of the virus. we have a full list of schools affected in the bay area on our website at kron 4.com. pam?
