(jr stone) new at 11. morgan hill police arrest a man they suspect of stabbing himself after attacking a woman, two children, and a baby with a knife. it happened just beofre five this morning at an apartment complex on bisceglia avenue. an officer arrived at the apartments and found a man standing in the parking lot repeatedly stabbing himself in the neck with a pocket knife.

the officer ordered the suspect to drop the knife multiple timesbefore using a taser. after detaining the man26-year-old eduardo ramirez. police went into the aparment and discovered his alleged victims a woman, two children under 14 years old and a baby. all of the victims were taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries. (justine) a bart train derailed and caused major delays across the peninsula earlier today. but officials say it will not affect sunday service for the bay to breakers. trains are single tracking through between the balboa park and colma stations. it started just before three this afternoon two cars in the middle of a nine-car train... derailed at the daly city station. none of the 24 people aboard the train were injured... and a bus bridge was put in place to help. the cause is still under investigation. a bart spokesperson said that it doesn't appear to be the result of any issues with the train operator.

news tonight flooded areas of the south and midwest... are bracing for another round of rain. heavy rains brought fast and severe flooding to parts of indiana, prompting washington county authorities to declare a state of emergency. heavy rains overnight turned rivers and streams into flash floods in the sumner county region of tennessee. sweeping away over a dozen vehicles...and damaging several buildings. no storm related deaths have been reported. more rain is expected in both states next week. in pleasanton, police were involved in a shooting that left one man dead.when officers responded to a 9-1-1 call on burundry drive, a man came out of the garage door with a gun, and was headed straight for the three officers.one of them shot the man, who died at the scene. nobody else was hurt.one neighbor told me he heard five or six shots.both the police department and the d-a's office are investigating the shooting.in pleasanton, spencer blake, kron four news.
