going to happen (steve) thank you dan. now last month --- police arrested a teenage boy in connection with a bomb threat at redwood high. investigators accused the 17 year old senior student in that case. police say he masked his phone number then called the school and left a message that there would be a bomb at the school day day. the student was booked on felony charges of making terrorist threats. (vicki) a teenage girl who was severely burned in the fire that ripped through mendocino county three weeks ago has died. her death raises the number of those killed in the state's wildfires to 43. according to the "santa rosa press democrat"... 17-year-old kressa shepherd died last night. doctors performed a cat scan... and determined she was brain-dead. kressa's brother -- 14-year-old kai shepherd -- was among the youngest who died in the

wildfires. the shepherd family tried escaping the flames in their car... but their car caught fire. (steve) bay area lawmakers will introduce a bill barring electric utilities at fault in wildfires --- from passing the cost onto customers. the proposal comes on the heels of the devastating north bay firestorm. the local senators behind the bill say it would prevent electric utilities found culpable from passing costs of claims not covered by insurance...as well as fines or penalties they might face. p-g-and e responded to the proposal saying "the investigations into these fire are still ongoing" and that they are cooperating with both c-p-u-c and calfire's reviews. the bill will be introduced in january (steve) a young father is critically injured in a hit and run... now san pablo police are searching for the driver.(vicki) the collision happened on emeric avenue not far from rumrill boulevard. kron4's maureen kelly talked to the family friend the young man was visiting right before he was

sent flying by the impact. robert armstong had just finished sunday dinner a little after 7pm october 22nd at this house on emeric avenue. the accident happened just after he'd walking back across the street after escorting his girlfriend and their two three year old twins to their car.i seen people running toward him and when i got there i thought maybe he was gone that's what i thought that's what i thought the way his body was mangled really i thought that was the end of him.charlotte sherman says the 22 year old flew up 15 feet.which is higher than her house.and he came down hard, two door down. he's listed in critical by stable condition at john muir hospital.he suffered some severe head trauma as well as injuries to visit as well as injuries to his upper torsosan pablo police say the suspect vehcile was last headed east on emeric. tomorrow would be a good time to fill up your gas tank. wednesday is when that statewide gas tax goes into effect, which means you'll begin paying 12 cents more per gallon of gas, and 20 cents more per gallon of diesel. (steve) kron four's spencer blake is live in the newsroom tonight. he spoke with caltrans today.so spencer, what exactly are some of the road improvement projects that money will be paying for? remember, there will be projects all around the state getting money from this tax, but there are some major spots near the bay bridge, and on i-80 in the east baythat will be getting underway. filling up is about to get more expensive, thanks to senate bill one, which the state legislature passed back in april. "that's a pretty sizable percentage to the dollar."starting wednesday you'll pay 12 cents more per

(steve) that's according to a survey released by the national retail federation... people clearly love halloween...and are expected to spend three-point-four billion dollars on costumes. two-point-seven billion dollars will go to candy sales. decorations could bring in two-point-seven billion.... on average...americans are set to spend about 86 dollars each.. if the survey is correct...20-17 sales will be an more than 8 percent higher than last year... their decorations won't be back in time...(grant) thanks for joining us i'm grant lodes...(vicki) and i'm vicki liviakis.... this latest theft happening at a home on celilia way in tiburon. that's where we find kron 4's charles clifford... he is live for us tonight in tiburon with details. charles....this isn't the first time we've seen a halloween grinch.... yes, last week we reported on decorations being stolen in san francisco along lake street. a family here in tiburon saw that story, called us and said hey, we had stuff stolen too! but the good news here is that they caught the their on surveillance video. around midnight on monday october 23rd, this car pulled up in front of a home along celilia way in tiburon. the driver, gets out and inspects the house from the sidewalk. after a few minutes he picks up two skeleton arm decorations that were sitting on the front lawn and puts them in his car. he then walks up the driveway and
