(ken) the police chief in american canyon says he is disturbed after seeing surveillance video showing a middle school staff member allegedly inappropriately touching a student. thank you for joining us i'm ken wayne.(pam) and i'm pam moore. louis gonzalez is accused of the lewd acts. and as kron 4's gabe slate reports, law enforcement is now asking for the public's help to identify any other possible child victims. 46 year old louis gonzalez of napa works as an aide to

students with special needs at american canyon middle school. police say recently at this school the fire alarms went off and the building was evacuated.police say school staff did not know what caused the alarms to go off so they combed through surveillance videowhile looking at that footage police say they stumbled across suspicious behavior between a staff member and a student who were alone in the gymnasiumsound from oscar ortiz - police chief american canyon" inappropriate touching between a staff member and clearly a child"after watching the video, school staff then immediately contacted authorities.american canyon police chief oscar ortiz said he was disturbed when he saw the surveillance video.sound from oscar ortiz - police chief american canyon"i don't want to leave too much to the imagination but at the same time i will say it was clearly inappropriate and lewd and lascivious "wednesday night police arrested gonzalez and charged him with three felonies related to lewd and lascivious acts on a child gonzales bail was set at $250,000. thursday morning he posted bail.stand up - gabe

the east county hall of justice in dublin today...but that did not happen....the arragnment...postponed. family members of the 21-year-old from san jose showed up in court today...and did not comment when our reporter questioned them. the reason for the arragnment delay... the da's office says it is still waiting on a full report from the c-h-p. it's possible the charges may come down tomorrow. investigators say tran was under the influence of marijuana tuesday night... when he allegedly caused a five-car crash on northbound 880. that crash resulted in the death of the mother and two children from manteca. they were not wearing seatbelts. five other people in the cadical escalade were injured in that crash. today-- and admitted ... she made up her entire story that foster dragged her down the stairs ... and punched her 10- times. (ken) foster's ex- girlfriend says she wanted to quote-- "take him down". as kron 4's rob fladeboe reports... the entire criminal case could now be in jeopardy. elissa ennis, the ex girlfriend of 49ers star reuben foster was silent as she left the courthouse on thursday. but she had plenty to say at a preliminary hearing in the domestic violence case she instigated against foster, who also has not spoken publicly about the case. under oath, ennis admitted her story that foster beat her up was a lie she told to hurt him and his career for breaking up with her. shown here at an earlier hearing, foster's attorney got ennis to admit it was all about the money and that she had been in trouble for accusing another ex boyfriend of domestic violence. the case against foster is now on thin ice says former prosecutor and legal analyst steven clark.steven clark/legal analyst "...the

found wounded by gunfire ... were pronounced dead by first responders last night in east san jose. those who knew the victims came to pay their respects. neither victim has yet been identified.. the double homicide happened on a narrow road in a rural part of the city, on the 38-hundred block of sierra road. neighbors say the violence is unusual for the area. < gary lopez: very quiet area all you really normally here is cars kinda coming up here through here racing that's about it but that's about it buttted to jose brazil: i don't feel too happy because i am kind of scared from today on.>(ken)the san jose police spokesperson stresses that any tip, no matter how small could be what they need to break this case.... crimes have occurred. some of the incidents have turned violent.. and the victims were injured. and of the six robberies .... police believe two are related. those were incidents near elementary schools. and investigators are releasing these photographs from the may 8-th robbery.... that is when a suspect attacked a woman and pulled her to the ground. she suffered scratches and bruises.. (justine) today, san francisco mayor mark farrell said he wants to create a dedicated medical team who would hand out a drug designed to stop heroin cravings. he's including 6- million dollars in his current budget proposal to pay for the 10-person team over two years... today, at the civic center art station, there were more police patrols and out-reach programs offering assistance...to the homeless and drug-addicts.

as a way to clean-up the transit system stations. bart riders at civic center see lots of drug use during their commutes.sot i see people shooting upnats this now viral video really shed light on the problem. people slumped against the walls and doing drugs out in the open at the station.nats on thursday, the long corridor known for bad behavior was empty of people sleeping or shooting up. mainly because bart police, san francisco police and the salvation army made their presence known. and got people help, who would take it. sot and we have already put several people with out staff on to transportation back to our programs right nownats on the plaza, salvation army volunteers set up a table to pass out socks and sandwiches. even hot coffee to almost 750 people.sot i slept on bart for years in a paper box hey hey but i am doing great now sot it is very nice to come through here and get a few things that you need bart is on a mission to clean-up its stations.tim chan / bart planningsot a lot of what happens at the street level goes underground filters down to the bart station and on to our trains and we cannot ignore it underground, the salvation army tried to reach

reports one family member says they had no idea what was going on. a close family friend says they are doing all they can to help the children during this quote "hard terrible time." kron four provided with this go fund me account set up to help the 10 children removed overnight from their fairfield home - this as family members are trying to suddenly care for the needs of kids, ranging in age from 4 months to 11 years of age. one family member says they knew nothing - and quote: "the whole thing is terrifying." police say they found the children living in a filthy fairfield home. carpets soaking with urine, feces, human and animal smeared all over the floors. hallways unpassable with garbage. their parents - jonathan allen and ina rogers now facing multiple charges of abuse. in addition, allen is facing 7 counts of torture. authorities allege he shot at bit and in some cases waterboarded his children and poured scalding water on them. allen's sister and brother said quote "when we heard the news about the children we

(philippe) as she walks up the steps to her future new home in fremont... a huge weight has been lifted off yesenia ramirez's shoulders. nats- "pink walls and purple." the married 30-year-old old mother of two young children can already envision what the rooms will look like. yesenia ramirez/mother- "this is where i wanna, wanna, um, have my kids grow up. um, where i wanna raise my kids." ramirez and her husband were both born and raised in san jose. they still live there in one of yesenia's family members garage converted to a studio.yesenia ramirez/mother- "my kids want their own space and its hard for them to find a place to play." well, that won't be an issue come the fall -- when yesenia and her family are supposed to move in. habitat for humanity east bay silicon valley broke ground on the 30-unit condo-style housing development on central avenue last july. yesenia applied for the non-profit home ownership program about five years ago. spokesperson patti wang cross

(ken) american women are having fewer babies -- and researchers say choosing careers over motherhood could be one factor.(pam) a new report from the national center for health statistics says there were just under four million births in the u-s in 2017 -- a new record low. that's down two-percent from the year before and the lowest number in 30 years. the report found that other numbers are rising -- but that's not a good thing. the cesarean delivery rate increased to 32-percent. the rate of pre-term births rose to nearly ten percent. new tonight at á10 grapes and grass...some companies are trying to cash in on california's two top cash crops.the wine and weed tours happening in the bay area that organizers hope will grab the attention of the state's tourism industry. that's tonight on kron 4 news at ten. the warriors took care of
