video shows dramatic images of a woman being freed from underneath a train in boston.

a group of bystangers stepped into help when a woman's leg became caught between an orange line train and the platform. a police report said the severe laceration on the woman's leg left her bone exposed.one person stood behind her for support, while another held a cold water bottle against her leg. meanwhile a group of at least ten other people pushed on the train car, edging it back just enough to get her leg out. bystanders then wrapped her leg.transit authorities say the gap between the train and platform was five inches. tonight at ten.. the contra costa county district attorney's office confirms to kron 4 .... it intends to file murder charges against the man accused of a violent purse snatching last month. police say,

otto halafihi attacked 93- year-old ann peterson and her 64 year-old caretaker, at a bank near the sun valley mall in concord. peterson was pushed to the ground, and her purse was taken.she suffered major injuries.. and was hospitalized. last week, she died. halafihi is behind bars charged with robbery and elder abuse.the district attorney's offices says, it plans to add murder charges when he returns to court july 17th. (pam) in contra costa county, the brentwood police department is investigating a killing.(ken) a woman was found dead inside her home this morning and the suspect, her son, is in custody.it happened on torrington drive in brentwood. kron 4's charles clifford was in brentwood and he has details. well, as of tuesday evening the investigation into this case continues. one person is in custody could be charged with murdering his own mother. it's an attack that has stunned this quiet neighborhood.around 10:30 tuesday morning, the brentwood police department responded
