(darya) good morning and happy thanksgiving i'm darya folsom.. lets start the morning with a check of the weather some more rain today but not as much as was seen yesterday with scattered showers across the bay. air quality is much improved with highs in the upper 50's and low 60's. expect rain to increase again into black friday tomorrow.

continuinues to rise. it now stands at 83 people killed. hundreds of people remain missing this morning. more than 18-thousand structures have been destroyed... more than 13- thousand of those are homes. the camp fire has burned more than 153-thousand acres and its 85-percent contained. ( darya ) of the 83 victims ... 58 have been identified. six more names were released wednesday... they are: teresa ammans - 82 years old of paradise... richard brown - 74 .. of concow... maria wehe- 78 years old of concow... kimber weir 53 of paradise... joseph rabetoy 34 of

paradise... joan tracy 80-years old of paradise... sheriff kory honea talked about why he believes releasing the names is so important. ( darya ) the family of one of those victims is sueing pg&e, blaming it for starting the fire and the many deaths that followed. wednesday the lawyer for the family of gerald "jerry" rodrigues filed a wrongful death lawsuit.

jerry served in the navy and had a large group of friends in paradise and served the community. he lived in the pinecrest mobile home park on skyway. we spoke with the family's lawer, who hopes this will hold pg&e accountable and prevent future fires from happening. and even though cal fire has not issued a cause for the camp fire... the family believes they have enough evidence to sue. ( darya ) rodrigues is survived by his daughter and his three grandchildren. ( darya ) pg and e responded to the lawsuit by saying: "our hearts are with the communities impacted by the camp fire. the loss of

life and property is staggering. right now, our entire company is focused on supporting first responders and assisting our customers and communities impacted by the camp fire." ( darya) at the same time, crews in butte county continue to dig through the rubble in their search for the missing. however the rain that's falling is impacting on their work. kron 4's alecia reid rode along with cal- fire .. and caught up with the menlo park urban search and rescue team in magalia. they're gonna stay here as long as it takesit's a big, large area to searchone property at a time ...it's gonna take daysmembers from the menlo park urban search and resue team joined forces with other california strike team of engines in magalia. some of the teams that were here earlier in the week didn't have some of the tools that these guys have. these guys have all the equipment to handle heavier rescues like sheet metal and things like thatonce an area is done, it is noted.it also allows crews that come by to know if they

( darya ) new this morning... oakland polcie have made an arrest in connection to the october construction site fire. police did not provide many details in the arrest.. but they say the arson arrest is connected to the fire in the 32-hundred block of peralta street that broke out on october 23rd. ( darya ) san francisco police have made an arrest in connection to a fire on geary street. we have a picture of the 58-year-old man arrested on monday and charged with two counts of felony arson. the fire broke out at a commercial building on the 800 block of geary street. police say it was surveillance footage that allowed them to identify the suspect. ( darya ) on the

peninsula... san bruno police have made an arrest in a hit-and-run investigation. police say on monday they responded to a crash in the 23- hundred block of rollingwood road. when officers arrived they learned a ford mustang hit a parked car and the driver had fled. during their investigation polcie identifed the driver as 29-year-old jhovanny hernanadez. hernanadez was in the process of leaving the area in a rideshare when polcie located him. he was arrested and booked into the san mateo ( darya ) in the north bay... santa rosa police arrested a man in the unprovoked stabbing of a woman at her front door. police say jesse james graham attacked the victim without warning.... as she got home from work and was trying to unlock her front door. police say graham then stabbed her in the back. the victim suffered a life- threatening injury and had to have emergency surgery. she is now in stable condition. police say they do not have a motive in the attack. caused a lot of problems at the s-f-o for people traveling into and out of the bay area. at least 47 flights were canceled yeasterday because of the rain. one person said her daughters flight from new jersey was delayed for three hours. but they say the wait was worth it to finally get back home. < and yeah, everytime san francisco gets rained, the two runways can't operate so everything just gets delayed, especially the long distance stuff so i kind of knew it would happen but i'm kind of glad to be here.">( darya ) despite the delays... travelers we talked to were happy to be in san francisco for the holidays. zookeepers says nikko has gotten more and more quiet since his mate passed away in january. in santa barbara... there are two other female gibbons nikko can bond with. the zoo says nikko is beloved for his sweet and gentle nature... and will be missed. zookeepers will accompany nikko on his next tuesday. next tuesday.drive south next tuesday. for centuries. but new data shows the famous italian monument is actually straightening... just a little bit. the tower lost four centimeters of its tilt over the past 17 years. but this wasn't by chance... engineers actually wanted to take away some of its iconic appeal. a professor who leads a surveillance group for the tower says sand and clay soil on the tower's north side was removed to help balance the weight of the structure. now it's tilt is about the same as it was at the beginning of the 19th century. so while the leaning tower of pisa might have "less lean" -- engineers expect it to still be standing for at least another 200 years.
