weather. let's head over the traffic center always are slick out there this morning. >> about a 10 minute drive traveling from the maze. 2 that fremont street exit across the bay bridge san mateo bridge heading across towards the peninsula. you can see it is very wet there. about 13 minutes as you're traveling across. let's get a look at the richmond. sandra fell bridge traveling at a ridge across towards sandra fell. take about 10 minutes. honestly bridge and the golden gate bridge. 37 to the tolls. you're looking at a 21 minute drive. san jose police are investigating a murder after 2 separate shootings. police say the shootings happened one block apart from each other. the first shooting happened near east of san carlos in south fort street at 03:00am on sunday. police say the victim died on scene and that suspect got away. the second shooting happened just a block away from the la victoria taco to be a restaurant. we see a cop. >> you know, we're living a good life just on the steps of the biggest risk aiming at the suspect. hi, i'm like just

like a step or 2 further door inside the door. and then all you hear is 3 shots like the shooter and everyone scatters. >> well, police say a man was pointing a handgun. someone else officers shot at him. they say the man is being treated for non life-threatening injuries. police are still investigating both cases but say they're not related. they're also looking for the suspect who shot and killed a person in a shooting near the san carlos and south 4th street. investigators are trying to figure out what caused a fire at an apartment complex in antioch. more than 30 people, including several children were left without a home. the fire happened friday night on sycamore drive the contra costa county fire protection district at that fire under control in about an hour. the fire displaced. 33 people, including 12 children the fire protection district says the fire started near gas meters. but they still have not determined a cause and they have not ruled out arson. well, wildfire destroyed in

ancient coastal redwood tree in marin county, the roughly 200 foot tall tree. now as the pie and your tree fail after catching fire, california state parks said in a statement it was one of the few remaining old growth, redwood trees at samuel p taylor state park. the pioneer. she was estimated to be approximately 500 years old. the cause of that fire is still not known. for your money. this morning, small business owners are looking for other options as inflation continues to bring new challenges, the cost of food production are not only affecting brick and mortar restaurant, but the mobile ones as well. 20 davis spoke to food truck owners about how there balancing all the costs. but other times we try to take a lot of the hit. >> just so that the customer can continue to get that good price on our so we don't lose the customer, but the cost of food rising as well as gas prices. cloudy, supple,

white house economic advisers estimate 700 billionaire families paid an average federal tax rate is slightly more than 8% between 2010 2018. that rate is lower than the rate paid by millions of americans, including teachers and firefighters. chris welty grows well, tax, unfair. the plan was passed congress to become law. the clock is ticking for bay area tenants behind on rent because of the pandemic. the state eviction moratorium expires march 31st. after that, landlords will be able to start filing eviction notices. 2 runners who owe back rent san jose city leaders say close to east 7,000 renters are at risk of getting evicted because of this. some council members want san jose leaders to extend the moratorium moratorium about 6 more months last week. city council members voted 6 to 4 for the city to review that issue and return with an answer in 2 weeks. but the moratorium will have already ended in 2 weeks.

>> well, welcome back to the kron. 4 morning news this morning here at 04:43am, a wet and slick one. certainly. so you want to be cautious as you're out there on the roads were tracking that. but rebecca strom is in this morning to join us. nice to have you here. and it's really slick and wet out there. >> yeah, really is. right now. we've been seeing a lot of the wet pavement around the the bay area and we're definitely seeing a some wins. and in fact, the advisory is set to expire, though by 5 o'clock this morning. we did see gusts of up to 30 35 miles per hour at times. so things should start time down. as far as the winds go, it's still going to be breezy. but as a big as what we saw during the overnight hours outside right now, yes, the satellite radar imaging we're seeing some rain drops across the richmond center fell bridge right now, the bay bridge, the san mateo bridge and the bulk of it to the south of the golden gate.
