2:18 pm
fact. >> already seeing that hasn't rolled out in many places. and then of course, you see this year is starting to get some of those thunderstorm possibilities up at the very high elevation there. but really for us today, it's been kind of a typical bay area day with a little bit of a foggy start. this ended up keeping the coast a nice and cloudy and cool. and that's where you start to see those 50's head across the bay will now or in the 60's. and then we get into the 70's, even 80's as we head inland. it certainly conquered out up to 80 degrees. 77 in nevado still little cool down in the south bay. so san san jose liquor just looking at 71 degrees right now. they should be warming up in the next hour or so. there's that marine layer as we take a live look here from mount tam. it is very present and it did not go very far today. so it will not take much for it to come back in. that's why we are going to be a little bit below average in san francisco today. 66 is the average who doesn't look like we're going to make it anywhere near that today. and also nowhere near the record from 1986. was 91 degrees. so not anything like that, but we are going to be breezy and could see these gusts kind of
2:19 pm
picking up as we get that onshore push of that marine layer moving back in as we roll through the afternoon and our evening. so it will feel a little cool out there when you head out the door as far as the fog is concerned, it is going to hang on to the coast. but you can see we get through this clearing this afternoon and then here comes again as we look right now, that's about 9 o'clock tonight. notice there's going to be coastal drizzle again accompanying this. so that means to our morning we do wake up with that drizzle with that cloud cover and then get a little bit of relief if you are inland as we work our way into the afternoon, cause that same pattern, right? and that's we're going to see all week this week, really not a whole lot of dramatic change. our forecast. we do get a little bit cooler as we head towards next weekend. we have a low pressure system to the north and west. so press down on our temperatures just a little bit, but still not a whole lot of variation just kind of hanging out here in our first part of june. >> a big the bama
