toll plaza to hear. >> all to one is the time. let's get to our big story this morning. president trump is once again changing course when it comes to immigration enforcement. and the president says that he's actually gonna give hotel farmworkers a temporary pass kron four's joey horta live in san francisco with the latest on that. joe. >> and james is, of course, just the latest step back and forth on this ongoing issue that continues to unfold. the president about saying he's pausing arrest of farmworkers and hotel workers as well. video here showing immigration agents as you'll recall chasing down this farm worker in california sent shock waves throughout the industry earlier this month. the president saying immigration arrests are hurting both the ag industry and the hospitality industry and that led to a short pause on arrest. but the administration flip-flop few days later when borders are tom homan said ice would continue to target those been businesses. but the president now reversing course

again, trump made announcement on fox news channel's sunday morning. futures. >> it's a problem in both sides of the thing. i'm the strongest immigration guide that there's ever been but i'm also the strong this farmer guide that there's ever been. and that includes also hotels and, you know, places where people work a certain group of people work. so we're going to working right now. we're going to work is so that some got temporary pass where people pay taxes with a farmer can have a little control. >> a spokesperson for the golden gate restaurant association telling us, quote, we are encouraged to read about the recent change in federal policy tell there's a clarity regarding ongoing actions. there will continue to be a high degree of stress in our community. meanwhile, the california farm bureau director of policy bryan little says, quote, it's important to note that the focus of immigration enforcement should be on the

removal of bad actors or lawbreakers, not our valuable and essential farm employees. the farm bureau also saying that arrests were to continue of farm workers that could drive up food prices that you pay at the grocery store. now it's unclear when this pause will go into effect or how long it may last. back to you. all right. only thing for that report. it is 803. >> a strike involving health care workers at ucsf benioff children's hospital in oakland is now coming to an end after union leaders called it off yesterday. this after a federal judge denied their request for an injunction that would have stopped ucsf health from proceeding with its integration plan. so we have video of workers as they were on strike earlier this month. this integration plan that the hospital has includes canceling union contracts and making workers there at the oakland hospital direct ucsf employees. union leaders say the plan would essence, cut pay at children's hospital, oakland and their affiliated

facilities. ucsf health officials, though, say the move is necessary and supports their long term growth plans. workers had planned to be on the picket line today as well. but that's not happening anymore. despite the strike ending the national union of healthcare workers says they will continue to fight this in court. ucsf center. gration plan is set to go into effect july 6th. meanwhile, a dispute between blue shield of california and uc health, which is san francisco is largest medical center, could disrupt healthcare for tens of thousands of residents here in the bay area. that's if they don't find a solution by the july 10th deadline. city attorney david chiu and supervisor matt dorsey recently sent a letter urging blue shield to keep uc health in its network. because that would mean that could provide continue to provide services at pre negotiated discount rates. they warn cutting ties in the middle of the year could threatened care and breached contracts. talks are still ongoing. but if an agreement isn't reached, ucsf health, including ucsf medical center and the benny of

children's hospitals in san francisco. and oakland would be out of network for blue shield of california. members. >> and silly. 2 people actually been displaced after a fire broke out at their home. this happened in real avenue pretty early sunday morning. officials say thick black smoke and flames could be seen coming from the home's roof. we don't have any reported injuries at this time. >> well, into its second attempt, oaknand international airport now pushing to change its name once again to include san francisco start up some controversy yet again from tran is live in oakland with more on that. will. if you are flying into oakland this morning, it is oakland international. but you know that name change if they wanted. the only reason why they don't have san francisco bay oakland because the judge prevented them. so they said, you know what? let's go back to the drawing board. >> let me show you what it looks inside the word oakland is prominent inside all of the

it was over phil knight and the golden gate bridge. 20 minutes. one person is in critical condition after they failed from the san francisco high rise and he landed on an awning. sanchez. the fire department says happened around 5 saturday afternoon on green street in the city's russian hill neighborhood. crews use ladders to rescue that person. officials. we're not sure how high the victim was up there and they fail. but as apd is currently investigating. >> well, a plan to bring solano county sheriff's deputies in to try to ease the police staffing shortage that they have there has been thrown into limbo. the solano county board of supervisors delayed their vote until july 22nd. there were lots of emotional pleas for both residents and leaders to make this happen. but it's on pause for now. the agreement would have sent 25 deputies into parts of toledo to try to cut down on response times, cut him in half. as a matter of fact. but union pushback patrol car delays of retirement system warning they of all now thrown this plan into doubt just months before
