and they reconvened. they took the vote everybody is waiting for. it's a tax hike. the stadium an contention center needed two thirds, 28 votes. that's all they got. the stadium was backed by sheldon adelson, putting up $650 million of his own money. the raiders $500 million. the tax payers, $750 million. supporters say this means thousands of jobs. >> you cannot understand estimate the vue unemployed construction workers. how important it was for them to get back to work. >> we'll be back here in a couple of months with no good answers for how we fund fully our budget and we're gonna be making cuts. yet, we'll have a shiny new stadium. >> reporter: yeah, there's some hard feelings on both sides of the aisle, especially on the democratic side of the aisle about how this tull turned out.

officials are currently investigating a home explosion in ohio. the sheriff's office says two people were inside the home at the time of the explosion. both were transported to the hospital. their identities and injuries are currently unknown. the home is completely destroyed and fire spread to two other homes. a neighbor said it felt like the explosion shook the entire city. french's president will preside over a ceremony tomorrow

a spirit airline was diverted to cleveland as a result of the crash. the human fly who scaled the trump tower in new york in august made a brief court appearance yesterday. the 19-year-old is charged with reckless endangerment and criminal trespassing. at the time he told investigators he wanted to have a private meeting with donald trump. his antics they were caught live on social media and he quickly became a sensation on twitter and facebook. he did not enter a his case was adjourned until december 13th. some u.s. airlines are adding new fire-proof bags to their fleets in case a cell phone or a laptop battery overheats and catches on fire. alaska airlines was the first to install the bags across the who el fleet. the bags can withstand temperatures up to 3200 degrees fahrenheit. delta says all of the aircraft will have the bags with first

last tornado was almost 20 years ago. that was a great observation there. there's no difference between a waterspout and tornado. just depends where they are. if it moves on land, it's a tornado. they can pack a punch. we had a great collection of lenticular clouds. they look like flying saucers. you see them on the right side your screen. they form over the mountains and sometimes we get som pretty spectacular. this one formed over mount charleston. it almost looks like a chimney. it helps create that flying saucer look to those clouds. we'll check in with a couple of weather stations. it's calm for the moment at the lodge but they've gust to 43 miles per hour. we do expect this weekend, the strongest winds to be at the higher elevations. as far as southwest, blowing at 16, having gust to 30.
