sitting on a wall, pointing a gun at cars. the area we are talking about is las vegas boulevard and st. rose. that's where 13 action news reporter yasmeen hassan is right now. we now know the gun the man had wasn't real. it was just a replica... ....but officers didn't know that when he was pointing it at innocent people. the calls started coming in around 8 o'clock last night. people were terrified. witnesses say this guy was just posted up on a wall - pointing his gun at any car that came by. officers say they did everything they could to get him to stop... ....but when he didn't - they had to do something. tyjay germany witness ((we heard the police telling someone to drop their gun in spanish and he didn't listen. in english and then they translated it because he didn't speak english and he still didn't listen.)) officers say the suspect was

an emotional reunion between a veteran and his service dog. this morning he has social media to thank for bringing them back together. the original post was shared on the lost dogs of las vegas page just hours after eric and cerb were seperated. eric says the dog dissapeared from his friend's front yard.. we posted eric's story on 13 action news's facebook page. our viewers helped connect the dots which led to the happy reuninon. the war veteran suffers from p-t-s-d right now...astronaut scott kelly is set to return home after more than a year in the

some incredible video of an explosion in san franciso california. it all started when a bus driver pulled into a gas station after his engine started over heating and smoking. :15-:19 pause for nats of explosion this all happened yesterday. that bus and four fuel pumps at the gas station were destroyed after the fire and explosion. fire crews had keep their distance when dousing the bus with water. another bus parked nearby posed a danger of exploding.

recovering in the hospital after a nasty crash. chopper 13 fast and first over the scene yesterday near lake mead and buffalo. police say the motorcyclist is now in stable condition at u-m-c-. officers are still trying to figure out what caused this crash. while state lawmakers continue to look into ways to split the clark county school district...the district is moving forward.

sunrise says they dont' know why but it's not because of flu season. however....the southern nevada health district says higher e-r wait times are common this time of year. this morning a family says they have no where to go. a disabled veteran and her family are being forced out of their north las vegas home because of asbestos. "we need to get our family our of here, make sure we don't keep exposing ourselves to whatever is in the air. obviously there's still holes and they're still open." it all started with a kitchen renovation when contractors found asbestos. after multiple issues with their house and the management company valenzuela and her family want to move out. valenzuela says their management company billed them for a thousand dollars to have the asbestos testing done without asked the family first. now they've reached an agreement with the managfement company and the family has a few days to get out. valenzuela says they need help because her spouse can't lift more than 15 pounds. they've set up a go fund me to help with costs...there's a
