4:10 am
it's going to be warm steve, but not as warm as yesterday. not even close. okay there's already a west wind. so that'll make a big difference at this time. yesterday was an east wind so that makes a will still go with near 70 about 70 to 72. you know, it's always a little warmer over there, but it looks mostly sunny. i can't find any fog yet. so just a few high clouds, but i should be quite comfortable yesterday, another record setting day that makes six months in a row. gilroy 97 san jose 94, oakland 89, santa rosa 92, sfo and half moon bay. tied at 89 80 degrees 1989 was a scorcher. that lasted a lot longer. this was only one and out, but again, the relentless high pressure just seems to never want to let go here. santa rosa, san francisco livermore and san jose. those arrows are hauled down today from eighties and nineties yesterday to seventies and eighties today. and big change will be starting tomorrow. the winds really going to crank up on saturday. it will be much cooler going all the way
4:11 am
into tuesday, unfortunately, doesn't look like much in the way of any rain, but it does look like a dramatic drop in the temps. and there it is. you can see more of a west southwest or western league component is trying to take shape or south wind one little east southeast, but this is a big difference compared to yesterday. fifties sixties on the tip. still 64 though in the city, so i really hasn't kicked in yet 49 at the napa airport. 49 in petaluma. upper forties bodega bay point reyes and then a lot of fifties here to cloverdale 62. that's pretty warm sauce leaders at 59 american canyon 57 so not much cooling yet. but it will make it is that weak front starts to move into the north. that's going to allow the pattern to open up the door to the lava cooling to begin. although again the fog is not here yet it should be. picking up here in the next i'd say 12 hours or so over cooler. partly cloudy. much stronger wind picks up on saturday, so we will have a wind advisory starting at five am tomorrow and going through five p.m. on sunday. so look for a rather blustery weekend. any rain. forecast models still

trying to paint something on us here in the next week. i'll tackle it on monday, but if they're still trying to bring some rain in here on monday, 60 seventies eighties on the temps, although antioch's brentwood probably close in your 90 degrees cooler. wendy will take us into the weekend pam that much cooler early next week. all right. thank you, steve. i never thought i'd be in this position . never did anything to put myself in this position, so it's still surreal to me. up next. we are hearing from the man who was shot by police at the san jose restaurant. details on the lawsuit now filed against the police department. and judge tangie brown. jackson has made history as the first black woman confirmed to sit on the u. s. supreme court, national leaders and people of color who practiced law here in the bay area. are reacting to that historic decision.

states supreme court i was overwhelmed with joy. just elated for attorney chamber benton hayes, former president of the black women, lawyers of northern california judge jackson, now a new role model for younger black attorneys. it's important that she shattered this glass ceiling for african american women. and that she's showing that we deserve to be in that space and have a voice. us. supreme court is slowly but surely moving forward to look like america adores hazard. nortel who was the first black woman judge in northern california, says judge jackson likely will play an important role on the court. that split 6 to 3 between conservatives and liberals. history shows us that as time goes on, uh, sometimes needs dissenting opinions eventually become the majority opinions. so i think she will be very important. she writes beautifully, her positions on cases so we'll see where it goes

good for the giants game. not as warm as yesterday. but it will still be in the probably in the low seventies. here in the west wind is kicking in so but you know, it should be fine in the sonic. there's almost four forecasts. giants games. low herbal depends on where you're sitting record highs yesterday or a bunch either they set or tied all these go back as you can see almost all except for half moon bay to 1989 1989 was a scorching that was a four or five day stretch of hot temperatures. this is just one and done but still it was impressive to get 97 gilbert, santa rosa, san francisco livermore san jose arrows are all coming down here after eighties and nineties yesterday it's seventies and eighties today tomorrow to be sixties and seventies. big dramatic change here. i mean, it's a changing forecast from one extreme to the other in just a short period of time. so thursday was the hottest day by far with eighties and nineties and by the time we get the monday by the time we meet again, it'll be cool and windy with possible rain in fifties and sixties. how about
4:21 am
that? wow that's a big change isn't very big, very nice. so the highest getting bumped out of here. it's moving off towards the east. weak system is falling apart. but you can see the airflow. that's the arrows coming south wind and paterson past. now southwest it's sonoma ridge. pleasanton is in there. as well. so it's slowly turning 50 sixties on the taps here fifties on the east bay temps, although still though, piedmont kensington at a warm 66 pittsburgh 64 in brownwood, 60 52 on a creek and also alamo. so the highest starting to lose its grip. it'll still be a warm day for inland areas, but that west wind over time will begin to pick up and we are looking for the cooling to begin. it will be warm inland. but then tomorrow get ready for the wind machine because it's going to be picking up and we have a wind advisory starts early saturday morning and goes through late sunday. i mean, that takes care of your entire weekend, doesn't it? and maybe by the time we get together on monday, i'll be talking about some rain. i hope so. we really needed to delay fire season but still projections of that 60 seventies eighties to near 90 today, so almost a summer pattern here.
