good time to talk about how we use water. more importantly, how we can save water. so to help you do that, let's go to rosemary oroczo about unique but beautiful ways to harvest our rainwater when we get it. yes claudine, and it is really hard to believe that not that long ago it was actually illegal. to capture rainwater here in the state of california. no longer the case. joining us live is the owner of sweetwater landscape, dan. good morning, dan. thank you so much for joining us. good morning, rosemary. we do have a couple of items we want to talk about. we want to talk about the rainwater capturing systems. yes but actually, let's start with the smart tech device called hydra wise, that actually tracks the weather and adjust your watering outdoors. based on that. sure it's a huge improvement over older, non smart irrigation controllers. it triangulate at least three weather stations in the area.
9:24 am
and it takes that information and predictably adjust your times for you with your irrigation controller really saves a lot of water during the springtime and fall, especially wow. so it knows when it's going to rain, and in which case your sprinklers. stay off that day, which you know, i don't know if i'm actually guilty of it. perhaps probably, but you know, it rains and then you go outside and low and behold, your sprinklers are going off, so this will help help with that type of stuff, right? it definitely sounds genius. it's correct. i mean, just simply by changing your irrigation controller to. it's a smart controller. i heard the term smart meter. well, this is kind of on the other side of the meter. and um yeah, i'd say right away. you're going to see savings of 25 to up to 33% just what? that installation on your landscape watering. that's that sounds great. and i sounds like you can actually if you're if you're a techie person, you
