7 live weather network camera showing mostly cloudy skies. storm track 7 live doppler radar has a little bit of activi showing up. a lot of this isn't reaching the of mason city, and again in western iooa. so here's ffure track tonight showing the chance for a little light rain, and temperatures will be near freezing so there could be a little light snow oj freezing rain with the system, so we will temperattes are above freezing right now. hehee are a look at the current temperatures. our attention is focused on the major winter storm for early next week. a few changesn the forecas you can see on your screen. a mix of rain and snow possible southeast, with heavier snow the farther northwest you go. also, a lot of wind likely out of this snow. all the details in just a few minutes.

other republican candidates make stops in eastern iowa today -- including carly fiorina. she spoke at steamboat garden in waterloo this afternoon. kwwl's hillary maglin attended the event -- and joins us live with the latest. hillary? well mac -- fiornia greeteder supporters today right on time and spoke about lots of different issues... incluung the currenen government... her fellow candidates... and exactly what she'd do as commander and chief. she al touched on reforming social security... defeating isis and stopping the group from reforming... and enforcinnan immigration system that works for american citizens. after speaking for around 40 minutes... fiorina took questions from the crowd. she encouraged her supporters not to settle for any otter candidate... and to caucus for her. across eastern iowa. storm track live doppler rrar showing a little bit of activity to our north and west. this is maly staying aloft as we have dry air in plce, but a litttte bit of liit rain has been reported west of mason city, as well as western iowa, so there could be a light shower over night. this is allpart of a sysyem in colorado that will track to the east and north east, leaving the chance of rain in our forecast but nothing widespread. let's track it all out with future track. starting early this evening there will be a couple scattered light rain showers to the north, and that's mainly where it will stay throughout the night, otherwise a mostly cloudy sky. we will

air may be added to the system across the southeastern thiid of the combination of those three, before we all switch to snow in the afternoon. the heaviest snow will be acrossssthe northwess. no matttr what, it is going to be very windy with wind gusts up to 50 mph possible, creating hazardous driving conditions. here's a look at a couple of computer models thaha we use, showing where the heaviest snow will fall. right now this particular model, we will call it model one has a spread of one to twelve inches of snow across the state of iowa. you can see the break down here. anothe model we use is coming in a little bit weaker, but still dumps the
