Monsters will now throw rocks at you! Just a quick warning it's pretty powerful and will have to be toned down, but let me know how balanced you think it feels. They also have no animations so they look very silly 😄 Changelog 2022-01-03: Monsters: - Experimental rock-throwing! Keep your head down! - NO ANIMATIONS - When attacking a building they'll check if there is a rock wall nearby that it can make rocks from - If so, it produces a rock and approaches the targeted building with it and then throws it as soon as it gets close enough within 3 tiles - The window of action between them getting the rock and throwing it is fairly small! - Rocks do high amounts of damage (60) and can pass through fences! (might collide with whatever is in its path in the future) Scripting: - Renamed "Overlap trigger" to "Enter trigger". Level files are affected but it will be fixed retroactively for now. - Added a specified direction option to blocks which have a direction. This can, for example, be used to make a monster only emerge in a specific direction (and fail if that direction is impossible) - Monsters can now emerge from flat walls, which should only ever be present in the editor. - Clarified text on event chain trigger block - Updated script "Help" button to redirect to the new GitHub wiki page instead of the stub on the Fandom wiki Other: - Added "Shoot" key to customizable hotkeys - Fixed some hotkeys for first-person vehicle controls being hidden - Fixed "Reset all hotkeys" not properly clearing previous keys - Fixed a bug where Electric Fences wouldn't register nearby buildings as powering them if connected to an already powered fence - Fixed a bug when switching from wire placement to block placement - Tweaked an issue with monsters walking past fences in tight corridors |
