Subject: Kiloyawn
A bit of a understated animated movie explaining to Americans the importance of switching over to the metric system. The narrator uses just his guitar to make his points, and it's sort of not enough. I know you are tryng to connect with the kids, but this is really the wrong way to go about it.

I remember being one of the first classes to be taught metric measurement, and being told by 1980 the nation would be converted to metric. What happened with that? Metric makes so much more sense. Someone needs to do a documentary on what happened to the U.S. and the Metric System.
As to this short: it is so classically 70's! I love it. It reminds me of Bicentennial cartoon over on the Prelinger Archives, in animation style, but it's not so psychedelic.
Love the style,the kitschy song, and the concept of metric.
