Historically prostitution is one of the oldest professions in the world. Most of the time viewed from a victim perspective there are few studies that reveals that it as also taken as an alternative way of making a living and as a choice for many women. Prostitution is needed as an escape valve for society as large. It should be legalized in order to regulate and to protect these women. They have an important role on our society and should be treated with respect for that.
