A personal account of a German officers experience in WWII. Von Luck provides insight into the rise of Hitler and the buildup to war. He tells of his experience and participation in the Blitzkrieg on Poland, the battle for France, fighting on the Eastern Front , with Rommel in Africa, fighting the Americans in France, and the final battles against the Russians where he is captured and imprisoned.
Lucks story is well written and the narrator does an excellent job of bringing the story to life. One is transported back through time to relive history as seen through the eyes of a German army officer.
I highly recommend Pazer General. Excellent story and excellent audiobook. An internet gem. 5 stars
