-Dang Gui - Tonifies the Blood and regulates the menses. Invigorates and harmonizes the Blood and disperses Cold (stops pain due to Blood Stasis). Moistens the Intestines and unblocks the bowels. Reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain. Stops coughing and treats dyspnea.

-Ji Xue Teng - Invigorates and tonifies the Blood. Activates the channels and relaxes the sinews.

-Tao Ren - Breaks up Blood Stasis and invigorates Blood circulation. Moistens the Intestines and unblocks the bowels. Drains abscesses.

-Ji Xue Cao - Clears Heat, promotes diuresis, resolves swelling and removes toxicity. Invigorates the Blood, reduces swelling and stops pain. Clears Damp-Heat. Cools the Blood and stops bleeding. Clears the Liver and brightens the eyes.

-Ling Zhi - Tonifies Heart Qi, nourishes Heart Blood and calms the Spirit. Tonifies the Lung Qi, transforms Phlegm and stops cough and wheezing. Tonifies Qi and nourishes Blood.
