The third segment of episode 1 of "The Gentle Doctor", a series about veterinary medicine produced by WEDU in Tampa, FL. This episode premiered fall 1988 on WEDU and winter 1988-1989 nationwide. Episode one's third segment was about naturalistic zoo environments and featured scenes about WPZ taken from WPZ-produced tapes. The video features both Washington, D.C.'s National Zoo, Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo, Tampa's Busch Gardens, and the San Diego Zoo. It discusses the trend of landscape immersion zoo design and includes a brief segment with Zoo Director Dave Towne.
