The Eben Dale Sutton Room (Sutton Room) was in need of restoration work and the Library sought funds to update the room. This document provides the specifications of materials to be used and other outlines for the future preservation of the Sutton Room

Also included are several letters that show the evolution of how the money was raised, along with any concerns about the Library loosing its historic status because of these changes. In addition, 1975 shows the earliest known records of the Library becoming the place for the municipal archive of Peabody.
