Triumph of the Will (German: Triumph des Willens) is a propaganda film made by Leni Riefenstahl. It chronicles the 1934 Nazi Party Congress in Nuremberg. The film contains excerpts from speeches given by various Nazi leaders at the Congress, including portions of speeches by Adolf Hitler, interspersed with footage of massed party members. Hitler commissioned the film and served as an unofficial executive producer; his name appears in the opening titles. The overriding theme of the film is the return of Germany as a great power, with Hitler as the True German Leader who will bring glory to the nation.
Triumph of the Will was released in 1935 and rapidly became one of the best-known examples of propaganda in film history. Riefenstahl's techniques, such as moving cameras, the use of telephoto lenses to create a distorted perspective, aerial photography, and revolutionary approach to the use of music and cinematography, have earned Triumph recognition as one of the greatest films in history.[1] Riefenstahl won several awards, not only in Germany but also in the United States, France, Sweden, and other countries. The film was popular in the Third Reich and elsewhere, and has continued to influence movies, documentaries, and commercials to this day.

Subject: Technical praise
I just hope the technical praise I see here is not thinly veiled approval for the Nazi regime and its ideology. These same people or at least parts of their crews most likely also willingly filmed The Crystal Nacht, the clearing of the ghettos, and the miles-long cattle cars being sent to Auschwitz.
Be sure that your praise is PURELY TECHNICAL.

The first five minutes say it all: Hitler descends like a god from Heaven and the *volk* rejoice. (Judging from this film, not least the women folk.) Arguably the most impressive unabashed propaganda vehicle ever made, though its incessant drumbeat may wear on the sensibilities. Which, no doubt, was at least partly its intent.

Evaluate the notorious NSDAP and all of Germany with the uncensored and summarized narrative elements of modern, politically correct additions that depict the Third Reich of 1934/35. Directly from the source of the place and the epoch, no additional or current insertions of modernity. Instead, have a taste of the last century of archived footage from the early to mid-20th century

A very interesting perspective of the War. Couldn't imagine what it would have been like to be caught up in the turmoil of that era. This needs to be preserved for future generations as a cautionary tale. People are too Censor happy, lest we forget.

Amazing work from such a long time ago, it’s fascinating how some people get so angry when they see it! Seems like they are afraid of something. Nonetheless inspiring

The "innovations" in cinematography that have kept this bloated mess from being burned up with other Nazi trash are not really worth the price of admission here. The structure is pedestrian and the filmmakers have trouble with such tasks as exposing anything at night or keeping Hitler's head in the frame while he's making a speech!
On top of that, the events depicted are as boring as it gets. People are presented (unconvincingly) as an unvaried inhuman mass. It's taken for granted that the Nazi leaders are compelling figures, when they are merely slobbering, over-serious hacks giving crazed, unlettered speeches. This tedious screed fails as propaganda unless you're already desperate to join a drug-sodden superstitious death cult.
And yet, we can thank Leni Riefenstahl for producing such a wealth of footage to be used for satire and ridicule through the ages. Sieg Heil!
