KCRA TV news footage of an interview with Charles Manson on death row at San Quentin prison in the 1970's. Also featured are scenes filmed at the home of actress Sharon Tate the morning after the first night of murders by Manson's "Family", interviews with police and detectives, scenes of "Family" members at Manson's trial, and other historic footage.
Charles Milles Manson (1934 - 2017) was an American criminal and cult leader. In the late 1960's, he formed what became known as the Manson Family, a quasi-commune in California. Manson's followers committed a series of nine murders at four locations in July and August 1969.
