police are looking for three suspects in an armed robbery. portsmouth police say three men wearing masks robbed a dragon city chinese restaurant delivery driver yesterday. it happened on towne point road. officers say the three walked up to the delivery driver and robbed him at gunpoint. police in virginia beach are investigating two armed robberies of 7-11s at the oceanfront tonight. dispatchers say the first was on pacific avenue near 24th street around 7:15. the second happened 10 minutes later and three blocks away on 27th street. police haven't released information about suspects. also in virginia beach -- police are looking for the person who robbed a junior market on south lynnhaven rd. it happened saturday morning just before 11. dispatchers did not say if the suspect was armed. if you have any information on any of these robberies -- police ask you to call the crime line. newport news police arrested a man friday night - in connection with an domestic assault in suffolk. 20-year-old keishon

virginia beach delegate scott taylor is talking congress. this video shows him speaking to supporters at keagan's irish pub in town center. this was his first public appearance since he made the announcement friday. taylor is an entreprenuer and former navy seal. he says he's proud of his work to advance legislation on small business, education and veterans services. with this announcement, taylor says his run for lieutenant governor in 2017 will be put on hold. ((c53 17:18-17:28)) "i know that right now this country is at a crossroads in terms of are important to the congress." the current state delegate is running for congressman scott rigell's second congressional district seat. rigell said earlier this week he will not seek re-election. the second district covers the eastern shore and virginia beach. that could change under a current redistricting plan being

we have breaking news out of glocester. someone shot four people overnight on ditchley road and gill lane around 12:30. one of those people died and two others had to be life flighted to the hospital. now, police did arrest a suspect in the shootng and are planning to charge them. we are learning more about the people killed in the terror attack in burkina faso. one of the victims is an american.

riddering of florida was working as missionary in the country. officials say he was waiting for some other missionairies to get to a restauruant when gunmen showed up and started shooting. at least 27 people died. friends say he worked at an orphanage with his wife about 60 miles from where the attack happned. he leaves behind four children. president barack obama responded to michigan governor rick snyder's request for federal aid. the president signed an emergency declaration to get help for the city of flint, which is in the middle of a water crisis. the executive order allows fema to provide water filters and other supplies for 90 days. flint can also get up to five-million dollars in federal funding. the city has been in crisis since high amounts of lead were discovered in tap water. documentary filmmaker michael moore was born in flint. he came back to his hometown to insist president obama visit the city when he comes to michigan next week. he also says the executive order isn't enough.

was even booed by the crowd while he was criticizing fellow candidate, senator ted cruz, who was also at the vent he talked about the release of the americans held captive in iran. cruz says he is glad the americans are coming home, but is blasting the obama administration for giving up iranian prisoners. he believes the trade, plus iran holding 10 american sailors earlier this week shows weakness. tonight, the democratic front runners will take the stage for their first debate of 20-16. most will have their eyes on both hillary clinton and vermont senator bernie sanders. the debate will be hosted by n-b-c in charleston, south carolina. last night, clinton, sanders, and martin o'malley attended a fish fry in charleston. before they sat down to eat, they all took to the stage and took jabs at their g-o-p opponents. police about a shooting. dispatchers say one person was shot -- and their injuries might be life- threatening. it happened on glen willow court by windor oaks boulevard around 2:50 this morning. we're calling and emailing police to get more information. as soon as we know more, we'll bring it to you on the air and on wavy dot com. two men are in a virginia jail facing terrorism charges. police charged 28-year-old joseph hassan farrokh and 25-year-old mahmoud amin mohamed elhassan after farookh allegedly tried to travel to syria to join isil. officers arrested farrokh at richmond international airport friday afternoon. he was trying to get on a flight to chicago. officials say from there he was to fly to amman, jordan and then to syria. police say elhassan drove farookh to richmond. they arrested him when he returned to woodbridge - in northern virginia. if convicted, each of the men face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. rescuers have expanded their search for the 12 marines missing off

the marines went missing after the helicopters they were in apparently crashed into each other. the coast guard says they have expanded the search to eight miles out to sea. the marines were on a training flight when the crash happened. the marine corps officially identified the 12 missing men last night. the north carolina department of justice is getting involved in a health insurance glitch- that left many worried - they were without health insurance. about 25-thousand blue cross blue shield customers in north carolina reported not reciving insurance cards on time, and were unable to verify coverage or submit payments. the insurer now says 94-percent of those customers were accurately enrolled. and that the company is wokring to fix the problem. the north carolina department of justice sent blue cross and blue shield a letter asking the insurer to explain what went wrong. a woman is very lucky she wasn't standing a few steps in front of where she was. we'll show you more of but, then she gets her kids taken away from her. more on this

of a t-v news producer was found. family and friends are mourning the loss of anne swaney. she was found in this river in belize friday morning. the 39-year-old was an executive producer for a-b-c seven in chicago. she was supposed to go on a horseback riding expedition, but volunteered to stay behind when the group was short one hourse. when the tour returned, they noticed swaney was gone. they later found her body in the river, with bruises and cuts. an investigation is underway to try to

a car crashes right into and suveillence cameras caught the whole thing. you cna see the car blast right through the front of the store. the car just misses a woman whwhwas walking inside. the crash started a gas leak. store workers helped get the people inside the car out to safety. they were taken to the hospital. police are trying to figure out what caused drinking. more video is being released from a raid on hideouts. this is video from a raid by the mexican navy in october. they say this is one of the many hideouts joaquin guzman used after his escape from prison. mexico used marines to hope to trap guzman there. this raid showed the authorities they were hot on his trail, as he left several items behind. guzman was recaptured last friday and is now back in the same prison he originally escaped from. searcher and rescue teams are still trying to find a missing ski instructor in california. snowmobilers and other skiers have been searching all over the sugar bowl ski resort for

morning. police say the search started after one of his friends say he didn't come home from sking thursday. as crews are now going into day three of the search. the search area has expanded outside of the resorts boundaries. hunt says: "it was whiteout conditions on the top of the summit. so he could have very well got disorientated and that he thought that this morning, carson wasn't here." police there say they have done 10 searches for missing skiiers since the season began. all of the skiers in those searches have been found alive and well so they are still hopeful they will find may alive. a woman in florida claims her son is being bullied at school. but, when she told police, all of her children got taken away from her. angela flatt says she called investigators after her son got off the school bus with burnt hair. she says he told her a boy at school burned his hair with a
