activity. if you are going to travel in this area towards the light rail stop, there will be some delays. further south in chester on the eastern shore, maryland 18 closed at u.s. 50 because of downed wires. looking pretty good on the north side and moving well on to the j.f.x. into town. problem free on the west side. no problems on any of the other major roadways. eight minutes down towards the harbor tunnel tolls. 11 minutes on the outer loop west side. this is the beltway at reisterstown road. inner and outer loops without delay. this is the hayden memorial bridge. a little foggy. fog warnings in effect. use extra caution in and out of cecil county. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11.

>> breaking news. a familiar and meeting place is now the scene of a fire. >> kim dacey is live at the scene with the latest. >> we have just got here a couple of minutes ago. we do not have lot of information. a lot going on behind me. you can see smoke going up from the trees and fire crews and police on the scene. many roads are blocked off as they get the fire under control. moving in on the j.f.x., we could smell the spell of fire from miles away. as we get closer, we saw the huge smoke plume coming out from the mount washington tavern. the call went out around 4:30 this morning. this is on newbury street. two alarms. we have heard there are no injuries.

out. happy halloween. i decided to where the weather map. that way you can see right through may. everyone's dream at home. we're always getting in the way of the forecast. we do have clouds increasing from the west. the air is milder. we are talking mostly a rain event. rain is moving in pass the ohio valley. this will be mostly eastern shore event. most of the showers will come to the southern and eastern tier of the state. 55 in central maryland. 58 degrees in ocean city. 47 in the western mountains. a bit of fog to start the day. we will see the clouds building and this afternoon. the storm system will build in a

miles per hour approaching that scene. you may want to stick to the beltway and go across the key bridge. newberry is closed at smith road because of continuing fire activity. there are other closures in that area. it will be difficult to get to the light rail stop. in chester, maryland 18 at u.s. 50, we have downed wires. fall minutes to go south on 95 because of that accident. some added time needed. 11 minutes on the north side -- this is the delay and you can see the accident taking up to its left lanes. a deer was struck. keep your eye out for deer. avoided altogether by taking the beltway. fog warnings at the bay bridge. it altogether byth

taking the beltway. >> three workers were killed in a massive blast on saturday. the blast was felt in neighboring missouri. they know the location of the three people missing and the search will resume at some point. police in texas say they have found the body of a girl not far from where she disappeared. she was last seen right before midnight on saturday when she and her parents were visiting relatives. the identity of the body has not been released but police say they have suspended the search for the girl. >> parents will be happy with the changes made to mcdonald's happy meal. they now will feature a couple slices or 1% milk and fewer

there are still a lot of hot spots around the structure so we will continue to proceed with our and exterior operations. we will reassess the safety in permit firefighters to perform some interior attacks. >> we understand it was a pretty intense fire. >> firefighters arrived and it appeared to be nearly a fully engulfed structure. they proceeded to the operations and we were concerned about the stability of the integrity. it was necessary for us to go to the exterior operations to surround the building and saturate with water. right now, the fire has been nearly extinguished. >> what happens now? >> we will officially place it under control and have our fire investigators and police arson investigators go inside and try

>> welcome back to 11 news today. 6:44. police are searching for the person who shot a man in the hip. the victim walked into a hospital claiming he had been shot. no word on his identity or his condition this morning. ulysses currie will announce whether he will take the stand in his own defense. he is accused of taking payments in exchange for political favors. his defense team is arguing that the senator did not intend slick break the law and -- did not intentionally break the law. the ravens were down at the half 24-3. the team woke up with joe flacco leading an air assault going to 31 for 51 passes. ray rice had three touchdowns.

firefighters busy this morning. kim dacey joins us live with the details of. >> there is still an active scene behind us. a lot of roads are blocked off and all of fire activity and police on the scene. most of the fire has gone under control. that is some good news. we have some video from closer to the scene at the mount washington tavern as it went up in flames. the fire was in golf as firefighters got on the scene. there was some concern about the structural integrity of the building -- the fire was engulfed as firefighters got on the scene. now that fire is mostly under control. they will make sure there are no hot spots. no word on what caused this fire or how extensive the damage is. reporting live, kim dacey, wbal-
