gaithersburg businessman gary giordano ... who says gardner disappeared while the two snorkeled off the coast. giordano spent four months in an aruban jail while police tried to build a case against him but was eventually let go for lack of evidence.giordano took out an accidental death policy on gardner which he tried to collect 2 days after notifying police of her disappearance. im still devastated .......that she will come home . sometime... a year later... police have not found a body or a suspect. meanwhile... giordano is suing american express for failurr to pay a 1-point- 5 million dollar death benefit. if you're in the fells point ... be aware... because there has been a rash of robberies in the area. the latest victim tells fox 45 she was held at gunpoint just feet from her front door. door.ellen shapiro says she asked a friend to walk her home that night and not even áthatá kept the criminals away.

the anne arundel county man accused of threatening to kill his co-workers is formally charged... but only with a misdemeanor. neal prescott faces up to three years if convicted of "misuse of a telephone."prescott is accused of calling his supervisor last week... and threatening a mass murder, similar to the colorado theater shooting. police searched prescott's crofton apartment and found 15 guns and thousands of rounds of ammo.investigators believe he intended to kill.
