i looked out my window. i noticed a string of cops. >> two people were shot at the location one taken with injuries the other transported in critical condition. >> we can pray for them, their families. think of the lives that are hurt. just offer prayer, more prayers would be needed minutes away. responding to another off milton road near a complex. people nearby heard several shots. >> what did do you when you heard them. >> i ducked. >> i kept walking, cars were moving, it's not already. >> the cameras were the only ones present as he was loaded on to the ambulance. he said a car drove by and fired >> he has no problems here at all. i would not expect for this to happen. >> but it did. another investigation is underway. >> as far as we know, no suspects in either of the two east charlotte shootings f you

we sent out a news alert. we'll update you when we have new information. an arrest in a cold case murder of a pregnant teen whose case we have been covering for years a man is charged with killing hawa gabbidon back in 2012. we talked with her parents and what they did after waiting years for the killer to be caught. >> molly for three and a half years, hawa gabbidon's parents have been asking who killed their then 17-year-old daughter. today homicide detectives gave the family the answer in person. then her parents had some place they just wanted to go. >> reporter: for this couple, church is the sanctuary during her murder. >> we have been praying we hope that one day something will come out of this. >> so church was the only place they wanted to be, relived, they

the tests last spring found elevated levels of toxic elements in the water. they occur naturally and in coal ash and the debate is where they came from. 300 well owners were told not to drink their water. this very been using bottled waters. the state said the chemicals are in public water systems not near coal ash pit so the state is sending out letters to the neighbors about the water. and there was nothing criminal about the way officers acted during an arrest caught on camera. this sparked protests and had the department investigating. the officer is using a technique striking the person being arrested in certain areas to force that person to release the average. they showed us how it is done in a demonstration today. , it's not criminal but we'll look at policy violations, and several confrontations caught by the camera. that supports the conclusion there was nothing criminal about
