party looking ahead at the game two tomorrow against the capitals. more importantly game three when the series comes to philly. hopefully by that time the series will be all tied up and we'll be well on our way to moving on. for now live in south philadelphia, i'm matt delucia, nbc 10 news. >> thanks. today the bill cosby case has another hearing in philadelphia federal court. the judge will consider a request by andrea constan, the former temple employee who accuses cosby of sexually assaulting her more than a decade ago. she wants the secrecy clause in her 2006 settlement with cosby lifted. each side says the other violated that pact. it's been almost two years since a mother and her three young children were killed by carjackers who ran them over at a fruit stand in north philadelphia.

yesterday a judge sentenced one of those carjackers, jonathan rosa, to 45 to 90 years in prison. kisha williams and her children were selling fruit to raise money for a playground when rosa and cornelius crawford careened into them. the men pleaded guilty and admitted to taking turns sexually assaulting a realtor and joyriding after they carjacked that realtor not far away. rosa's attorney read us a letter from her mother. >> my desire is for everyone to find peace and for your broken hearts to be healed. >> i forgive them. >> you forgive mr. crawford and mr. rosa? >> yes. i forgive them. >> how do you find that in your heart to forgive? >> it was hard. i prayed a lot. >> rosa's co-defendant, cornelius crawford, was sentenced to 50 to 100 years in prison in march. philadelphia police arrested a man in connection with a deadly hit and run in port richmond. yesterday, as you see there, police took that suspect out of

a home in handcuffs. on wednesday night police say the suv that man was driving hit and killed thomas dunbar while he was riding a motor scooter at the intersection of lehigh and aramingo avenues. police found the vehicle a short time later and yesterday made the arrest. in the atlantic city financial crisis, legislation to help the shore town has advanced to the state assembly. yesterday lawmakers approved a measure that gives the city up to two years before a full state takeover. in exchange the city's government has to reach certain financial benchmarks. the bill differs from the one the senate passed and that governor chris christie supports. 5:35. decision 2016, last night's new york debate between democratic white house candidates will likely do little to end their feud on issues and policies. hillary clinton and bernie sanders went toe to toe in brooklyn last night just five days before the new york primary. clinton challenged sanders on gun control and his support for

at that. 60 degrees by 1:00 this afternoon. into the middle 60s at 5:00 today. how about delaware? we have a beautiful day ahead. 39 degrees right now in delaware. 50 degrease by 9:00. 61 degrees by 1:00 this afternoon. not just south jersey and delaware. the pennsylvania suburbs, we'll see that nice warmup. cooler, some areas of frost to start with. 36 degrees, up to 47 at 9:00. near 60 degrees by 1:00. by 3:00 in the 60s. the lehigh valley will see a warmup, too. 38 degrees right now. not quite as cold in the lehigh valley. look at those temperatures take off. 60 degrees by 1:00. middle 60s by 5:00. the lehigh valley is in for a warmup over the next five days. there's the five-day forecast for the lehigh valley. 65 degrees today. 60s again tomorrow. it's into the 70s for sunday and monday. a little bit cooler on tuesday.

aftershocks. experts say they could occur over the next week. two days from now medical marijuana will become law in pennsylvania when governor tom wolf signs the bill it will not take effect until 30 days later. and patients will have to wait longer to access medical marijuana? what's next for patients? over the next six months the department of health will come up with temporary regulations. the department will set up a process for patients to apply for i.d. cards, for doctors to register and for businesses to apply for dispensary licenses. the regulations will become permanent two years after the law takes effect. the dispensaries have to be up and running for patients to get their prescriptions filled and that will most likely happen one to two years from now. philadelphia's district attorney calls them one of the most violent gangs in the city and now every member is in jail. police arrested 15 members of the 10th and thompson gang also known address tnt out of north

philadelphia. the gang had a turf war with a rival gang in 2014, and that led to shootings and one homicide. the tnt gang identified itself through social media postings, tattoos and clothing. members included a father/son duo. police seized about a dozen illegal guns during the arrests. april is autism awareness month. >> autism is a disorder that affects so many families no matter your race, ethnicity or socioeconomic status. 15-year-old julian green attends speech therapy at lasalle university. he was diagnosed with autism as a toddler. his elementary school supported his xwroet. that growth. three you a autism classrooms were started and a fourth expected next year. >> don't allow people to tell

31 in pemberton. princeton now at 29 degrees. that's a starting point. we'll see a good warmup after a frosty start this morning with temperatures in the 30s. we'll see sunny skies, like yesterday, only a bit warmer this afternoon. a quick warmup into the 60s today. the sign of it comes tonight. won't be quite as cold. even though skies will be clear. temperatures for philadelphia will drop down to the 40s. look what we're in for today. your neighborhood forecast, somerton, 65 this afternoon. in the pennsylvania suburbs, phoenixville, 63. easton at 66 from the lehigh valley. for delaware and south jersey, wilmington a high temperature of 64. beautiful sunshine through the day. at the shore, atlantic city, linwood a bit cooler thanks to that easterly wind. go inland, not far you're back in the 60s. the weekend, warming over the weekend. nice, sunny and mild for most of the area today.

you can see the 50s at the shore. the roast of the area will be in the 60s. then into the 70s for most locations on sunday. the exception is the jersey shore with those cooler winds coming off the ocean, 62 degrees. the warming continues even at the shore. we'll be warmer on monday. look at monday afternoon, 80 degrees in philadelphia. south jersey and delaware could hit the 80 degree mark as well. and that's not the end of the warmth. the seven-day at the bottom of the screen. this is your exclusive ten-day forecast, which looks beyond this weekend and into next weekend. tomorrow, 65. 72 on sunday. there's the 80 on monday. yes, it's cooler on tuesday. but look at temperatures coming right back up on thursday. nothing but sunshine until we get to friday of next week. there's a possibility we'll see showers. even after those showers or the threat of those showers clears, temperatures will be mild next weekend if you're making plans. 75 degrees on saturday.
