in the lehigh valley, easton 51 degrees, could see a sprinkle with these clouds but nothing more than that in the lehigh valley. 54 degrees with mostly cloudy skies at 11:00. those clouds will be hanging in there for most of the day today. that's really going to keep our temperatures down. yesterday we warmed into the 80s. it will be 60s with partly sunny skies this afternoon, later this afternoon in the lehigh valley. delaware, 60 the high temperature. central and southern delaware could see a sprinkle. the seven-day forecast at the bottom of the screen, it turns even cooler tomorrow with more rain. i'll take a look at that when i'm back with your neighborhood forecast. jessica boyington watching first alert for traffic. we are watching the schuylkill expressway. this is right around, our camera is right around montgomery drive. no problems in either direction, westbound or eastbound, all traffic is moving. and a 12-minute drive time eastbound from the blue route to the vine street expressway with

speeds into the mid-60s right now. we're also paying attention out in north philadelphia to that hit and run scene, still an active part of that scene is on 15th and parrish. small delays behind that scene. more details when i come back, vai. >> we're following breaking news out of philadelphia this morning. two philadelphia police officers are in the hospital after being involved in a crash and a carjacking. nbc 10's katy zachry is live for us at one of those crash scenes in fairmount. katy, police station tell us they're still looking for those responsible? >> they are still looking for those responsible, vai. there are so many moving parts to this story. it almost doesn't seem real. police here who i just got an update from assure us this is all very real. this white suv that we are focusing in on right now, this is integral to the whole story that happened around 2:00 thish morning. let's start with the video we have from broad and brown street in north philadelphia. this pickup truck was driven by

two philadelphia police officers, undercover officers. they were driving back to central detectives within they were hit along broad street by a black sedan. that black sedan kept driving. and that sedan has not been found yet. a witness to that crash stopped, got out of the car. here's where it gets really strange, police say. this witness was not a good samaritan. he simply told police he was nervous, he was scared by the crash scene that he was driving upon, so he got out of his car, left it in drive, so it kept moving forward. here's another crazy part. two men who were walking on the sidewalk near where all this was happening, they jumped in this white suv and took off driving with it. they drove several blocks. they turned up a one-way street where they hit two cars. they hit one of those cars head on. those two men who in essence stole this white suv got out and

according to witnesses with be they ran to a nightclub not far from where i'm standing right here along broad street, went in that nightclub. one of them took off a red hooded sweatshirt that he felt was an identifying marker and those two men have not been found. police have canvassed this area. they went to that nearby nightclub. they did find a discarded red roaded sweet shirt. at this time, pless are lo-- po are looking for the driver of the black sedan that initially struck the pickup driven by the two undercover police officers. those two officers were taken to hahnemann hospital. one suffered a concussion. the driver of the police vehicle was also injured. i'm told both of them are expected to recover.ç

they really just have minor injuries. we'll have another update for you at 6:00. i just finished talking with the chief inspector on scene. he has a little more insight to what went on here this morning. reporting live in fairmount, katy zachry, nbc 10 news. we pivot to national politics. another big night for presidential front-runners, donald trump and hillary clinton. >> trump swept all five states, clinton took four out of five. both of them are even closer to a nomination. nbc 10's matt delucia joins us live with an update on the delegate count and what's next for both of them. matt? >> both hillary clinton and donald trump got closer to their party's nomination last night. let's take a look at the delegate count in just a moment. first we'll look at some of the exit polling results from nbc news. 70% of the republicans who were polled say that the person with the most votes, the candidate whoette goods the most votes during this primary season should become the republican nominee. then you also have four in ten republicans who say they are scared or concerned about a trump presidency.

and 14% of the democrats say they would not vote for hillary clinton. another interesting point, two-thirds of democrats think that clinton rather than bernie sanders has the better chance of beating trump in november. let's take a look at the delegate count. what you're looking at right here is results before yesterday's primary. hillary clinton picked up an estimated 105 delegates from pennsylvania, 16 from delaware, all together now she sits at 2,117 delegates. you see how close she is to that 2,383 that is needed to win the democratic nomination. let's hear now from hillary clinton and bernie sanders after the primary results last night. >> i want to thank all of you for being prepared to stand up, fight back and make this country the nation we know it can become. >> let's go forward, let's win nomination and in july, let's

return as a unified party. >> all right. let's take a look now at the republican side. ts in, this is what the rew were in terms of delegates before yesterday's primary. you had donald trump picking up 20 delegates out of 71 for pennsylvania because of the uncommitted delegates that the state has. delaware, he got 16 delegates. all together donald trump has 954 delegates as of right now. as i try to draw that on there. he needs 1,237. he's about 37% on the way to that republican nomination. let's take a listen from donald trump and ted cruz. >> as far as i'm concerned it's over. these two guys cannot win. there's no path. why would i change? if you have a football team and you're winning and then you get to the super bowl, you don't change your quarterback. right? i'm not changing. >> this race is real, real simple. donald trump and hillary clinton are both big government

when i come back, your ten-day outlook. >> we'll see you then, bill. 19 minutes before 6:00 a.m. time to get a look at traffic on 95. >> nbc 10 first alert traffic reporter jessica boyington has that. i see cars. volume starting to pick up already? >> this is a different area than what we normally see when woodhaven road and the vine. that's typically where we see that delay first heading into center city. we had an earlier accident scene. that's cleared out of the way on 95. this is around 322, around the commodore barry breath. we had construction around the blue route in this area. we were seeing delays. that construction is gone, so is the accident scene. a little bit of cars in the area on the roads remain. you can see everything is moving along nicely right now. in montgomery county, there is an accident in lower moreland on valley road and terwood drive. early to see big backups. the pa turnpike is doing kaye good.

new this morning, police are investigating several car fires in west philadelphia. after they went up in flames inside a used car lot. nbc 10's pamela osborne is live for us in west philadelphia this morning. pamela, police say this was not an accident? >> reporter: vai, that's right. they believe those fires were intentionally set. we know the atf is involved in that investigation now. take a look at the scene. >> fire department, the police. >> this is cell phone video that a viewer shared with us. this is a used car lot over on 51st and marion. you can see how out of control those flames actually were. firefighters were able to put it out. our photographer went inside afterwards to give us a better look at what the damage was.

we founded four burnt out cars. here's why investigators say those fires were intentionally set. according to our police source, the keys were in the ignitions and someone poured gasoline into those vehicles. we also know the owner of that car lot did not show up right away. again, that investigation is ongoing. reporting live this morning, i'm pamela osborne, nbc 10 news. >> thank you. 5:46. it's been almost a week since prince died and questions continue about his death. >> now the music legend's long-time attorney is speaking out. mcmillan disputes reports that the superstar had a drug addiction. he says the 57-year-old's death was a complete shock because prince lived a clean, healthy lifestyle. prince was found dead last thursday at his estate in minnesota. an(uáopsy was done but complete results won't be back for weeks. meanwhile, prince's sister says the singer did not have a will. she filed paperwork asking a
