in south jersey. now a little bit of rein in southern chester county. just the beginning. system is going to be with us all day today and into tonight. look at the steadier rain to west and further to the southwest. definitely need rain gear today. freezing conditions, no, 39 degrees right now in philadelphia. temperatures will hover in the upper 30s with on and off showers this morning and then climb into the lower 40s. that's by lunchtime today and stay in the 40s this afternoon. with on and off rain fall. get heavier down poor likely to be later in the afternoon. suburbs 36 dries staying above freezing at 8:00 with few showers to start with. on and off rain during the day. heavier showers possible around lunchtime and later this afternoon for the suburbs. lehigh valley, also above freezing, 37 degrees. may drop down a little bit by 8:00 then back to middle to upper 30s this afternoon. need your rain gear through the day for the lehigh valley.
