around today, you're going to need a lot of layers. take a look at the 24-hour change maps. we're comparing yesterday morning to right now. yesterday morning was cold. today it's colder. seven degrees colder in philadelphia, vineland, wilmington and coatesville. here are the actual temperatures, right around the low 20s now. this is an improvement from the teens we had earlier. we're at 20 in allentown. still 19 in coatesville. philadelphia, 21. atlantic city, 23 degrees for our temperatures. the winds are making it feel colder than it truly is. they're coming in from the north, pushing in cooler air. at 12 miles per hour in philadelphia, 14 miles per hour in millville, also in the teens, 15-mile-per-hour winds for atlantic city down to wildwood. it feels still in some areas like single digits. we'll track out the temperature trend for today and talk about the warmup for your workweek coming up. today investigators will return to the scene of a house fire in philadelphia's west oak

lane neighborhood where crews rescued a 7-year-old girl overnight. nbc 10's matt delucia is live at the scene to tell us more about the family and the fire. a tough day for that neighborhood, matt. >> reporter: absolutely, rosemary. quite a few questions as to how this happened. you can see just a pile of debris here and something that was inside the house at the time. you can see the house right here, the windows are burned out and much of this home is not salvageable. last night it was fairly chaotic on the 6500 block of bouvier street. firefighters rushed in to save a girl on the second floor bedroom. when firefighters arrived, it was engulfed in flames. once you had friegts attacking the flames from the outside, firefighters went inside to find the 7-year-old girl that was trapped. >> that's how we were fortunate to get to this young child and hopefully in time that we made a

difference here. that 7-year-old was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition this morning. the parents were also taken to the hospital. as we take another live look, the fire didn't spread to any neighboring homes. the firefighters were able to contain this despite the cold temperatures and wind they had last night. the cause of the fire is still under investigation. fire marshal is expected to be back out here. firefighters say they will be back out today handing out smoke alarms to the residents around here trying to prevent any other issues from happening. it's unclear if any other spoke detectors inside this home would have helped matters in this particular case. again, all this is still under investigation. live in west oak lane, matt delucia, nbc 10 news. as crews were on their way to another fire, it rear-ended a car. you can see the back of the car had significant damage, but

fortunately nobody was hurt. the crews were on their way to this fire on north american street. it took firefighters about an hour to put out the flames in this two-story warehouse. nobody here was hurt either. investigators continue to look for a cause. a new york man is under arrest this morning on charges that he tried to join and support isis. elvis redzepgic appeared in federal court yesterday. authorities say he traveled overseas at least twice in the hope of reaching syria to join isis fighters. they say he told police he was prepared to strap a bomb to his body. a philadelphia woman who pleaded guilty to a similar charge will face sentencing in may. leanne know thomas was arrested last april. she was trying to raise money online to travel to syria to join the terrorist group. in camden, a disturbing discovery. authorities are investigating human bones found near pine point park. the remains were discovered last

week on the shoreline facing the delaware river. it's unclear exactly how long they had been there. analysts are trying to identify those remains. a small memorial of flowers and candles now sits outside of a pottstown wendy's to remember an employee. donald per nil was hit and killed in a crash. police are still searching for the driver. they're looking for a dark colored pickup truck with front end damage. this morning a philadelphia woman is facing charges in connection with a road rage incident in delaware that led to a stabbing. u.s. marshals and state police arrested mary craig yesterday. the 71-year-old is accused of stabbing a woman on south dupont highway back in november. craig is out on bail, charged with first degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon. tomorrow in the lehigh valley the board of

commissioners for bethlehem township will take a final vote on medical marijuana measures. athey want to limit where growers and dispensaries can operate. the measures would also prohibit dispensaries from having drive-throughs and outdoor vending machines. this morning pennsylvania senate democrats are still locked out of their website and their e-mails following a cyber attack. state officials say hackers infected the lawmakers' computers systems on friday demanding an online ransom payment to clear it. they're working with the fbi and microsoft to fix the issue. 9:37 on this sunday. 21 degrees outside. thinking spring, it may be die with the temperatures in the low teens and 20s. ahead in our next half hour, we'll tell you what experts say you should be doing before you make those final travel arrangements. also, no longer a stop.
