rounds...guilty. he was charged with murder after his accomplice was shot and killed by a milwaukee police officer. police say rounds and burt johnson were behind an armed robbery at a milwaukee o-reilly auto parts back in may.johnson's girlfriend, la toya james, was the one who purchased the gun used during the robbery.johnson told her which guns to buy.rounds will face a maximum sentence of 55 years in sentenced in november. new at noon --the army lieutenant viciously attacked and burned by a co-worker in kansas remains in intensive car. care...we spoke to jessica blanchard -- sister of lt. katie ann blanchard...she tells us lt. blanchard will eventually be transferred for inpatient care -- which could take up to a year. year.the 26 year old is orginially from fond du lac. she was allegedly doused with gasoline... lit on fire and stabbed by a co-worker in fort

identified that man as 54-year-old clifford currie. her sister tells us quote: "i hope this changes people and they take it serously when people report threats or other forms of workplace domestic violence." a vehicle fire in kenosha county has now become a death investigation. authorities confirm a body was found inside a car this morning in the town of wheatlan. wheatland. sheriff's deputies responded to the best bargains 352nd avenue shortly before 8 a-m.bystanders tried but were unable to rescue the person after flames consumed the vehicle. investigators are working to identify the victim and determine how the fire started. the search is on for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run this morning.

overnight near atkinson and capitol. the victim is a 45-year-old man who reportedly had been drinking and was walking in the street.he was responsive when officers got to the scene...but was taken to a local hospital where's he's expected to be ok.police are now looking for the maroon or red four-door vehicle responsible. a peace garden will be dedicated today to honor the memory of petersen.it's been nearly two years since the 5-year-old milwaukee girl was killed after police say suspects fired into the wrong house during a revenge shooting...hitting laylah who was sitting on her grandfather's lap. community members say the garden will be a "beacon of hope" to celebrate her beautiful life. a similar garden was started last month at 5th and meinecke to remember za'layia jenkins. the 9-year-old was also the victim of a bullet meant for someone else. she died last may during a shootout between two gunmen.

live from city hall with the details...julie? 3 mike today was the first meeting of the water quality task force. the group discussed how to manage lead in water service lines and indoor plumbing. today's meeting was mostly informational.headed up by alderman jim bohl, the committee also includes includes two other council members and representatives from the milwaukee water works, the department of public works, the milwaukee health department, and a medical professional.there was discussion about how to water filtration systems for residents.alderman bohl said he doesn't want to water concerns to cause fear for people living here -- but he does want everyone to be informed. alderman bohlone of the things i think this body has to convey is an education and an accurate, proper education about what the scope of the problem is... i'm not trying to draw alarm cause we find it food, we find it in soil, we
