out of their homes in south milwaukee. it happened around 11:30 last night.... near 13-th and manistique. authorities say... the fire started in a kitchen in one of the units... then went to the attic.the people living in the house were able to get out safely before firefighters got there.the red cross is now helping the families impacted. 3 west allis police have released survelience video of a robbery suspect running away... after shooting a customer inside a cricket wireless store earlier this week. cbs 58's kyle aevermann joins us live with a closer look at the video. the cricket wireless store here at 108th and national was closed yesterday as police continued their investigation. take a look at the video of the suspect running away.west allis police say the suspect went to the store just before 7 wednesday night-armed with either a sawed off shot gun or a short barreled long gun,

was shot.the man then took off and you can see money flying from his pockets as he runs away.police describe him as a black man-between mid-teens and early 20s and about 6 feet tall. his hair is described dreadlocks recently unwoven or cut. the suspect was wearing a long sleeved black hooded sweatshirt with some type of red logo on the front, dark colored jeans and tan boots. anyone with information should contact west allis police. we should also mention.... police victim are not life threatening. 3 milwaukee police are hoping you can help them identify ?two? people.. who chased after a man with their car--- then ?shot? him.it happened wednesday night at 76-th and chambers.the victim is expected to be okay.if you have any information on these men--- call milwaukee police.

acevedo vandalized the victim's home and car.it does not say anything about how acevedo was injured. 3 vandalism... broken windows.... break-ins a milwaukee business owner says... it's happening ?too often.?now he wants more police officers on the south side. but the request is causing controversy among the city council. cbs 58's julie parise is live in the newsroom.she has the story. barber shop owner tony garnica says the city needs to do something to help protect south side residents -- and he has a group of city aldermen on his side aldermen bob donovan, mark borkowski, tony zielinski and jose perez sent a letter to police chief ed flynn, asking him to deploy more officers to the city's south side.that letter says 215 officers are not enough to protect the 220- thousand people who live in the area. common council president ashanti hamilto n blasted the aldermen for making that request. in a press release he called their

the train tracks in mukwonago. they're holding 22-year-old brandon calkins on seperate charges of battery, disorderly conduct and resisting police. the criminal complaint says he pushed the woman onto the tracks. she passed out... and an oncoming train severed her arm. a mother is now suing the milwaukee county jail after her newborn died there back in july.the former prisoner claims the staff ?ignored? her. now she wants ?eight-and-a-half (m) million d. dollars.24-34 "shade' stood up because her water had broken sh informed the deputy, hey, i'm going into labor, and the deputy simply laughed and kept " moving." the attorney for sha-day swayzer says the baby was born alive.. but they claim staff didn't check on her for six hours after she had given birth... and by then the baby was dead.since april, three adult prisoners have died at the milwaukee county jail.so far, no comment from the sheriff's office, which oversees the jail. 3 3 take a look at this. west allis police have released survellence video showing a
