i'm scared, i'm scared for my family. my nephews. fear and anxiety this holiday weekend for some people living in cleveland. they're extra nervous as the city's homicide rate edgers even higher. now mask the number of homicide we saw a shooting tonight left one man dead. thanks for joining us i'm mike brookbank. one of the shootings happened outside of a busy store on this holiday weekend. derick waller takes us there. >>reporter: 2016 is turning into the one of the deadliest cleveland has seen in several years and one of those shootings happened outside a popular shoe store. >> that's a crime. you never know what's going to

short. as many as 20 gunshots rang out in the middle of the afternoon. the victims, two men possibly in their 20s. one of them died after being shot in the chest. tonight those shoes are sitting in the dark, the stores locked up and close the. it's a story that's getting too common. tonight police responded to another shooting around the at the same time outside u.s.a. food mart at east 123rd phillips. and another woman got shot in the leg. >> were you surprised? >> i'm not surprised, no. i'm not surprised at all. >>reporter: makayla phillips says she fierce for fears fore the safety of her four years child. i'm scared for my family, my nephews. i have a young son. i'm scared for myself. i work late. i get home late. so it's scary. >>reporter: there's been at

close call. in streetsboro a different outcome as flames tear through a barn at sahbra farms earlier this morning. investigators tell us the fire doesn't seem to be suspicious. they suspect electrical issues may be to blame. 12 horses and three rabbits died in that fire. new information about that shootout on i-90 west that left one man dead. he's now identified as jammal just before 6:00. two men in separate cars started shooting at one another. the victim, spinning out of control, flipping and ended up there on burke lakefront airport property. a 25-year-old driving another car is alive but injured. green died from a gunshot wound at metro hospital. now to new video of a man suspected in a shooting that left two people hurt. take a look. it happened in the parking lot
