a southwest virginia family in shock and wants answers this morning.they found out the mausoleum they purchased for loved ones is now housing the remains of strangers.maggie smolka has more. it was 1992.this official document shows beecher and coetta long bought two eye- level mausoleum crypts at around 25-hundred dollars each. the total price...more than 5-thousand dollars...all paid in cash. "this is it here with someone else's body in it."but when the long family went to see their crypts in november -- another name had been put up

side. "i feel like they stole our property."turns out -- temple hill cemetery sold one of their crypts in 2004 -- for almost 4 thousand dollars.they did this without any notification. january is national glaucoma awareness month. the disease affects an estimated 3 million people nationwide and that number is expected to grow to 4.2 million by the year 2030. wfxr's paris holmes is here to tell us why glaucoma is considered "the sneak-thief of sight". good morning. the reason why glaucoma is called a sneak

absolutely no symptoms. people could potentially lose over 40 percent of their vision before even noticing. and once vison is lost. it's permanent. glaucoma is an eye disease that affects the optic nerve. that's the nerve that goes from your eyeball to your brain. glaucoma causes the pressure in your eyes to rise and it damages that nerve. i spoke to dr. frank cotter, a glaucoma specialist here in roanoke,, he says anyone can develop glaucoma, but your risks-- depend on certain factors: like your family history and your age. he also says near- sighted people and african- americans are more at risk than others. in fact, according to the national eye insitute, glaucoma is 6 to 8 times more common in african americans than caucasians. kotter adds glaucoma is extremely difficult to detect. of the 3 million people estimated to have glucoma-- over half of them haven't been diagnosed. "the best way to determine whether you have glaucoma or not is to have a really good eye examine. you just can't
