complete new coverag starts right now. this is the fox25 morning news. >> julie: good wednesday morning, it is now 9:00 on november 4th, i'm julie grauert. >> daniel: i'm daniel miller. we appreciate your company. another sunny fall day out there and storm tracker weather meteorologist shiri spear, you're talking record temperatures. >> shiri: talking record heat for today and well above average though not record setting. 57 now in boston, how about many 60s, check this out vineyard, hyannis, nantucket, all at 60 and if you want to wear the short sleeves to start your day, go for it, 53 in fitchburg and nashua, new hampshire, still 40s in orange and in keene but we are seeing massive jumps in the temperature right now. in fact, by noon time today it is going to even out, a lot of lower 60s. this is when short sleeves are in order in most towns and cities and then temperatures get

coast but inland they continue to rise and 60 and 66 to range of highs today, another bright and warm day, so weatherwise no concerns on the road this morning, but i think your drive times will be different story. let's get you back over to julie for check on you're live drive time. >> julie: take you out to map and live drive times and seeing typical slow spots. expressway from furnace brook parkway to columbia road and 93 south average speeds 9 miles per hour through medford and into somerville. however, take look at this picture of route 1, it has cleared up so much since earlier this morning when it was a parking lot and then there was an accident on it that has since been cleared. here are live drive times, down to 19 minutes route 1 from 128 to the tobin and direction minutes on 93 south from 495 to the leverett connect and her hour on 128 south from route 1 in peabody to the weston tolls. >> daniel: we continue to follow breaking news in

bridgewater when body was found burned on the train tracks on morning. fox25 catherine parrotta is live at the police station where, catherine, police source tells you this is a homicide. >> julie: source confirmed apparent hopkins resulting in body being burned and this is what i have been told from a source this morning and right now what i have been waiting for and official update from other official on the scene, transit police and also the plymouth county d.a. timothy crews and just arrived here within the past half hour and right now waiting for one more official to arrive at the police department and then should be learning more about this incident but and show you video from the scene overnight so take a look at this because gives me a sense what police were dealing with overnight there. this is a wooded area near the railroad tracks and this in the this oak street and bridgewater and transit police on the scene there as well as state police and we learned about this when

we received several tips that body had been found there and that there was also a fire in this area. officials have been tightlipped about this all morning but as i mentioned i was able to confirm with an official that official have been investigating apparent homicide where the body was then burned but we have been referred to the d.a.'s office all morning for more information so again what we are waiting for now is news conference scheduled to take place hopefully within the next half hour here just waiting on one more person to arrive and then we should learn a lot more about exactly what unfolded in that area that you just saw in the video. so as we get along we will pass it along to you. for now live in bridgewater, catherine parrotta, fox25 news. >> daniel: stay with fox25 as breaking investigation developed today and update new app as we learn more details and learn at five and six tonight for live reports. >> julie: new hampshire woman given birth to baby boy hours after this rollover crash. the woman's husband was thrown from the car and she was trapped inside.

all of this happening just a block from their home. fox25 jessica reyes is live outside the eliot hospital in manchester where mom and baby are recovering. jess? >> jessica: mother had to undergo emergency c-section and baby and mom doing just fine and she and father they have pretty serious injuries but they are all expected to survive this. surveillance video shows the terrifying moments car clipped, rolled over on to side and then flipped on to its roof. >> one was ejected and other ready stuck inside. >> jessica: ready eight months pregnant and husband dennis was behind the wheel. vuk milanovic said cars were racing down the street.

least that's what it looked like. >> we know denis beaudoin is out of the hospital and according to reports brittany beaudoin gave birth to son via emergency c-section and both are doing okay. all three people involved are expected to survive. vuk milanovic is glad no one was killed and tells the crews in three years of business he has seen far too many accidents here. >> jessica: no charges have been filed but it could change. they are still investigating. fox25 news. >> daniel: father of two shot outside apartment building and homicide officials are searching for gunman and one man shot near granite street in manchester and happened before 6:30 last night. witnesses tell fox25 victim was walking to his car to get diapers for his daughter at the time. neighbors heard six shots and two witnesses tried to help the

victim until medics arrived. >> her and another nurse gave cpr and took him awhile awhile ago. >> daniel: neighbors say he lived in the building. daniel: interfaith we are americans event will be held at islamic center of burlington. members will vandalize with usa graffiti with sayings like we are usa. two teens arrested monday for the vandalism and have been charged with malicious destruction of property. >> julie: happening today a competency hearing for the teen charged with killing and raping his high school teacher. the trial for 16-year-old philip chism was scheduled to be underway by now but on october 13th the fourth day of jury selection chism's lawyer was concerned he wasn't competent to stand trial and wanted somebody to come into the courtroom and shoot him and

behavior to manipulate the court and him faces first-degree murder charge in the death of 24-year-old math teacher colleen >> daniel: search crews continue to look for key pieces of the el faro this morning. key piece is missing from the wreckage and ship's command center was somehow separated from the el faro and also missing. the ship's wreckage was found this weekend near the bahamas after getting caught in hurricane joaquin. 33 crew members were on board including three natives from massachusetts. daniel: new at 9:00 firefighters from new bedford rushed to fire on holly street. you can see thick smoke pouring from the triple decker there and fire started before 7:00 this morning sending huge plumes of smoke high into the sky. commuters on route 195 sent us these pictures here of the smoke from the highway and crews remain on the scene, no word this morning on injuries but the

daniel: 9:07 this morning. firefighters in lowell investigate flames at this home street. lowell sun reports the home was completely engulfed when crews arrived and chief says the home is vacant so no one was hurt. >> julie: erie mystery after worried the stone was stolen over halloween weekend and detectives tracked down the company that made the gravestone situation. >> we found out there was a mistake made on the one found and we made a new one for him and i think that's down at the should be. >> julie: man's first name was spelled wrong on the headstone and first one in proper place at mayflower cemetery in duxbury

firsthand how security worked this morning. >> michael: i went right into mcglynn high school here and walked into the front door to do my due diligence on reporting the story and was greeted, was taken to the main office, asked to sign office, which i was willing to do and when leaving asked to sign out. those security protocols clearly being reported this morning. that the not happening recently when security said somebody was able to get in. i want to show you the picture that was released and seen on surveillance video and police are still looking for her this morning. they say she also drove a get away car that was also caught on camera. police say and school officials say she entered a side door during lunch time and then skoal $800 from four teacher's purses while the classrooms were otherwise empty. then the superintendent says a second school employee did come across the woman, said can i help you? and the woman simply said she was looking for a pen and she

only party. >> she went up and tried to get into sea, residential college, i'm in td, you're in td, can we get into the party and he looked at her and said oh, no, it is for while girls only. >> julie: frat president denied anyone made statements and they were from multiple backgrounds. sae national headquarters is now investigating. >> daniel: in a few hours we are expected to learn mer about the death of an illinois police officer who sparked an intense manhunt with three suspects that lasted days. police are expected to announce that joe glen witts took his own life back in september he radioed in that he was chasing three men and then cut off communication and later officers found him dead and investigators say he faked the call and then took his own life. daniel: ireland has radical new plan to help drug addicts. they will decriminalize heroin

and cocaine and take drugs in special injecting room set up in major cities and there will be provisions there to prevent deadly overdose and spread of disease. irish officials hope this causes people to focus on helping addicts instead of shaming them. daniel: strange new twist in death of whitney houston's daughter. police in georgia say woman in charge of caring for bobbi kristina brown was not a licensed nurse. she worked in hospice center where the woman was in july after being found unconscious. she stole credentials from a real nurse in atlanta hospital and bobbi kristina's death remains under investigation. >> julie: look at maps how things unfolding. expressway still slow furnace brook way up to columbia road and still sluggish 128 southbound through lexington. 93 south average speed about 9 miles per hour as you head from woburn through medford.

so by 11:00 this morning lawrence up to 56 , 62 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and 61. so along the coastline let's plan on high around 60 if not being stuck in the upper 50s inland you got another round of those mid-60s developing around 64 and bump you up by couple more on thursday to 70 and couple more on friday high 73 and that's when we will be talking potential for some record breaking or at least record tying heat. check out what happens over the we dump by 10 on saturday and again on sunday but that brings us back to pretty normal highs in the lower 50s. 59 this afternoon in boston, 60 in beverly and in plymouth and 62 in lawrence, 63 in bedford, 64 in norwood, also in fitchburg 61 in worcester and 63 in nashua, new hampshire. future cast though kind of uneventful here because of all the sunshine. i mean we like it like this, nice and bright but we really could use a little bit of rain. don't have that much rain in the

with some of the warmer weather late week. temperature tonight in the 40s and nashua, new hampshire at 71 and fitchburg at 69 and 67 in boston. warm air take over into the end of the week and warm conditions tomorrow and not until the overnight hours that i will bring in some of the patchy showers continuing into your friday morning commute. this is 7:00 a.m., notice a lot of dry spots out there but showers are kind of speckled on radar and then we get a dry middle of the day clouds even break up a little bit with the highs and low to mid-70s but we are not done yet because we still got the cold front to come on through and stir up late friday showers. so here is 7-day forecast with weekend always in view 67 today and 70 tomorrow with late rain and friday some scattered showers and 73, then things cool down big time for the weekend with 62 on saturday and gradual clearing on sunday 52 and my

let's go to social conservatives notched victories on ballots across the country last night. kyla come bell said they shutdown antidiscrimination, kyla. >> kyla: votedders against measure says transgender rights would have allowed people to use bathrooms of choosing and opponents call it the bathroom bill and argued it would have allowed sexual predators in the woman's restrooms. in ohio people voted against legalizing marijuana for medical and recreational use and in kentucky republican matt bevin became only the second republican in more than 40 years to win the governor's seat. some analysts say bevin's win was test for gop outsiders

the last ten minutes this is now a deadly shooting and have much more tonight on the fox25 morning news at 5:00. daniel: drudge investigation on -- troubling investigation on the cape and determine the cause of death of infant in sandwich. emergency crews responded to a call and unresponsive child at home on short way around 6:30 yesterday morning. child was taken to the hospital but pronounced dead. dcf says they are looking into allegations of abuse and negative of the one-month-old. as of this morning the district attorney says there does not plan to be any sign of injury or trauma. daniel: police officer tried to run over a teenager with his car. officer jeremy smith yelling at employees at burger king drive through. police say when the officer approached davis the teen tried to hit him with his car. davis is charged with assault with intent to murder a police

returns to court on monday for dangerousness hearing. >> julie: happening today south boston man will be arraigned in connection with murder of marshfield man. this came into the newsroom about 30 minutes ago. state police arrested mark o'brien overnight with connection of killing of mckenna. mckenna was murdered in dameons point road in september. o'brien faces murder and burglary charges and two other suspects were arrested last month. julie: fight between brothers in canton turns deadly. we covered breaking news all morning yesterday. police responded to call on washington street just before our 4:00 a.m. newscast. they found one brother stabbed. he is expected to recover. the suspect larry king junior held police at bay until finally taken into custody and also had stab wound and died later at the hospital. julie: police found weapon on school property and officers were investigating possible

large pitbull grabbed the head of 18-month-old girl with its mouth and girlfriend of the girl's mother saved the child. >> he instantly grabbed the dog and threw him in a room and dog you could hear talk kind of get through the door still like for the 18-month-old. there was just like -- it was crazy. >> daniel: toddler lost a portion of her ear and has cuts in skull and face and neighbors believe the dog attacked out of jealousy and fall river animal control took the animal from the home. >> julie: this morning three young boys launching violent attack on innocent victims. lowell police say 14 and 12-year-old kids fired pellets from bb gun and tossed rocks at several homeless men and victims under a railroad bridge near dutton and fletcher street and men suffered deep bruises and one may have a broken hand. one of the victims tells fox25 they woke up to the attack. >> all woke up to pellet gun

you are with this sunshine coupled with temperatures well into the 60s, i do expect for many of you it will end up being short sleeves weather this weather and sunshine across new england right now future cast shows that we really don't see that change very much as we head into the afternoon or even evening hours and couple late night clouds moving into southeastern massachusetts so that means highs today will range anywhere from the upper 50s and lower 60s at the coastline itself so temperatures slightly warmer as you look inland. so let's check out some of the temperatures in and around the boston area here you could see boston area gets up to 60, malden 60, quincy 60 and it is going to be similar if not in the upper 50s from portsmouth, new hampshire to the sea coast to the north shore and ipswich 59 and marblehead gets to 60 and you will see a couple of those lower 60s, hull, hung am and then duxbury and plymouth and norwood 64, same in framingham and fitchburg today
